Without You, She's Not Happy

You looked around, seeing that your still stuck in the tube with Shadow. But then you two exit the tube and find yourselves in long term memory. You still had your core memories in your arms. But you looked around asked out loud, "Where are we? Long term memory? Wait." But you then looked around and saw the personality islands, shut down.

"Goofball Island?" You asked, with a concerned tone. "Cream's islands of personality, they're all down! Oh, this is bad." Said Shadow, hopping out of the basket of memories you two landed in. You looked at him, "We...we can fix this. We just have to get back to Headquarters, plug the core memories in and Cream will be back to normal." You said, hopping out of the basket as well.

But Shadow gasped lightly, "Oh. Cream has no core memories. No personality islands and no..." "What? What is it?" You asked. "You. You're not in Headquarters. Without you, Cream can't be happy. We gotta get you back up there." Said Shadow with a serious tone. "I'm coming, Cream." You mumbled as you and Shadow started to run to make your way back to headquarters.

-Later-
At home, Cream, her pet and her parents are sitting, having dinner. But Vanilla was the only one talking, and Cheese might be the one listening. "So, as it turns out the green trash can is not recycling, it's for greens, like compose and egg shells. And the blue one is recycling, and the black one is trash." Explained Vanilla. Cheese nodded in agreement with Vanilla.

But Rouge continue to watch and groaned, "Cream is acting so weird. Why is she acting so weird?" "What did you expected? All the islands are down." Shouted Knuckles with anger rising up. "(Y/n) would know what to do." Mumbled Rouge. "That's it! Until she gets back, we just do what (Y/n) would do." Suggested Silver with a weak smile. But Rouge then chuckled in response, "Great idea. Knuckles the Angered Echidna, Silver the Fearful Hedgehog and Rouge the Disgusted Bat. How are we supposed to be happy?!"

The emotion watch through Cream's eyes again. Then Vanilla asked, "Hey, Cream. I've got good news. I found a junior soccer league, right here, in San Francisco. And the best part is, that tryouts are tomorrow after school. How lucky, right?" Then Silver started to panic, "Soccer?!" Rouge then replied, "Uh-oh. What do we do, wise-guy?" Then Silver was trying to reach for a button at the console, "Guys, this... Here, you pretend to be (Y/n)." He said then pushing Rouge to the middle.

"Wouldn't it be great to be back out on the field?" Asked Vanilla with a smile. Cheese then agreed and smiled. Rouge touches a button on the console and Cream's answer comes out as sarcastic, "Oh, yeah. That sounds fantastic." Silver then glared at Rouge, "What was that? That wasn't anything like (Y/n)!" Then Rouge rolled her eyes, "Uh... Because I'm not (Y/n)." "Yeah, no kidding." Grumbled Silver.

Then insides Vanilla's mind her emotions discuss Riley's sarcastic response. Vanilla's emotions: Maria Sad Robotnik, Sonia the Disgusted Hedgehog, Karen the Angered Echidna, Sofia the Fearful Shaggy-Dog and Sally Joyful Acorn. Maria sighed sightly, "Did you guys pick up on that?" The other emotion agree. Sonia then replied, "Something's wrong." "Should we ask her?" Asked Karen to Sally, who is controlling the console. Then Maria said, "Let's probe, but keep it subtle so she doesn't notice."

Then in real life, Vanilla still had her smile and asked, "So, how was the first day of school?" "She's probing us." Mumbled Knuckles. "I'm done. You pretend to be (Y/n)." Said Rouge, pushing Silver towards the console. Then he chuckled nervously, "What? Okay. Uh, hmm." He presses a button on the console and Cream replies to her mother with doubt, "It was fine, I guess. I don't know." Then Rouge smirked at Silver, "Oh, very smooth. That was just like (Y/n)." Then Silver frowned. Back in Vanilla's head, Karen nodded, "Something is definitely is going on." Then Sonia sighed, "She's never acted like this before. What should we do?"

Maria started to tap her chin then said, "We're gonna find out what's happening, but we'll need support. Signal the husband." She demanded to Sally.

Then Vanilla started to clear her throat to get Randy's attention. Inside Randy's mind, he's distracted as his emotions are watching the memory of a soccer game. But Vanilla cleared her throat once more. Randy notices Vanilla trying to get his attention. Then Randy's emotions: Dr. Angered Eggman, Christopher Fearful Thorndike, Ray the Sad Flying-Squirrel, Espio the Disgusted Chameleon and Mighty the Joyful Armadillo.

"Uh-oh. She's looking at us. What did she say?" Asked Eggman, looking at Chris. Who replied, "What? Oh, sorry, sir. No one was listening." Then Eggman started to think through, "Is it garbage night? Uh, we let the toilet seat up. What? What is it, woman? What?!"

Then Sonia rolled her eyes, "He's making that stupid face again." "I could strangle him right now!" Growled Karen. Then Maria said to Sally, "Signal him again." Vanilla gets Randy's attention by tilting her head to Cream and he suddenly realizes what she wants him to do. He then asked, "Ah, so, Cream-Cake, how was school?" Then all of Vanilla's emotions groaned in frustration. "Seriously?" Shouted Sally with a glare. "You got to be kidding me." Groaned Maria, rubbing her forehead in frustration. "For this, we gave up that crocodile detective?!"

In Cream's head, Knuckles growls and pushes Silver and Rouge aside, "Move! I'll be (Y/n)." He then presses a button on the console and Cream replies to Randy in a snarly angry way, "School was great. Alright?" "Cream, is everything okay?" Asked Vanilla with a soft tone. But Cream rolls her eyes and sighs. "Sir, she just rolled her eyes at us." Said Chris to Eggman. He then sighed and shouted, "What is her deal? Alright, I don't want to have to put the foot down." "No. Not the foot." Panicked Chris. Then Randy tried to stay calm, "Cream, I do not like this new attitude."

Then Knuckles chuckled darkly and mumbled, "Oh, I'll show you attitude, old man." As Silver tried to stay him calm, "No. No, no, no. Stay happy!" Knuckles then punches Silver to the side and bangs the console button, causing Cream answer back to Randy in anger, "What is your problem? Just leave me alone!" "Sir, reporting high level of sass." Said Chris. "Take it to DEFCON 2." Demanded Eggman. As everyone started to prepare, Randy then started to speak a little louder, "Listen, young lady. I don't know where this disrespectful attitude came from."

Then Knuckles screamed, "You want a piece of this, grandpa?! Come and get it!" He then goes into overdrive. Cream then started to back sass, "Yeah. Well...well." "Here it comes. Prepare the foot!" Said Eggman. They turn the keys on the console to unlock the foot. Then Chris looked at Eggman, "Ready to launch on your command, sir." Knuckles pulls the lever, the tip of his quills erupting in flames, and Cream snaps at Randy, "JUST, SHUT UP!" "FIRE!" Demanded Eggman, as Chris pushes the button that releases the foot down. Then Randy demanded, "That's it! Go to your room. Now!"

Cream growled and stomps to her room in anger as Cheese followed her. "The foot is down! The foot is down!" Cheered Chris. Randy's other emotions cheer. Then Eggman smiled, "Good job, gentlemen. That could've been a disaster." But after Randy has told Cream off, Vanilla's emotions glared in disapproval. "Well, that was a disaster." Commented Maria. Karen brings up the core memory of the crocodile detective. As Vanilla's emotion all sigh in longing.
