AUSTIN'S POV
Brandon and I walked out to the car. He got in the driver's seat, and I got in the passenger seat. He parked outside a semi-fancy restaurant. We started walking, but then two girls stopped us.
"Hey, um, sir?" One of them said.
I turned around. "Yes?"
"We just wanted to let you know that your makeup is really really good."
"Oh thanks."
"Oh, and may we ask you one more question?" The other asked.
"Sure," I replied.
"Are you two dating?" She asked.
"As a matter of fact, we are."
"That's cool!" They shouted in unison.
"We're dating. Yeah, we're both lesbians."They gave us their number so that we could talk sometime, and we went inside. The waiter showed us our table, and we sat down. We looked at the menu and ordered some food.
After a while of silence, Brandon finally broke it. "If we were in Mexico, you would be able to legally drink."
"Interesting," I replied.
"When we get home, could you, well... Could you show me how to do my makeup?"
I couldn't help but smirk. "Of course love."
LATER THAT NIGHT
"Okay, be careful. It's okay if you mess up at first. It'll take practice," I assured him.
He shakily put his makeup on. It wasn't too bad, but you could tell it was his first time. He was gorgeous, even without makeup. I took a picture of his makeup. I'm planning on comparing this time with when he gets better. I looked at the time, and it was getting late. We removed our makeup, and got ready for bed.
Brandon began to walk out. "Wait," I commanded. He turned. "Yes?"
"Could you sleep with me tonight?" I asked.
"Sure, I'd love to."
I slept on the side near the wall. He laid down, and I put my arms around him. I felt like he could protect me from anyone or anything. Hopefully from the nightmares, too.
1:56 A.M.
BRANDON'S POV
I woke up, but Austin wasn't there. He was probably eating breakfast or something. I walked into the kitchen, and Isabel and Peyton were in there. They look like they've been crying for a while.
"What's wrong?" I worryingly asked them.
They slid a newspaper towards me. This is what it said:
Young Adult Mysteriously Disappeared
I threw it on the floor. I have to find him. I ran. I didn't know where I was going, but I just knew I had to find him. I was walking on the side of the road, and then I heard cars honking.
Cars screeching, headlights blinding, cars honking, brakes being slammed, and pain all over my body.
"Brandon!" A familiar voice yelled.
My vision was going red, but I held on. Someone grabbed me, and gave me a hug.
"I love you, Brandon." I couldn't see who it was, because my vision was blurry, but I recognized his voice.
"Austin," I said, grabbing his arm. "I... I..." I couldn't breathe. I forced the words out. "I... love... you..." Everything went black.
