Gerard didn't know what he was doing when he pushed Frank against the wall. He just wanted to be alone. After talking to Frank, Gerard ran to the tent Frank and Gerard shared. Gerard got all of his stuff, deciding to move out. But then he thought of Frank. He didn't want Frank to think that he hated him already. So Gerard got his notebook and left the Disenchanted lyrics on the floor. Gerard stood then quickly rushed to the Main Tent.
"Dr. Death Defying...I..I need a tent of my own..." Gerars said softly. Dr. Death Defying looked from what he was doing. "Something wrong with you and Frank?"
Gerard shook his head mildly. "I just want some...me time. You know what I mean? I..my mother died. My father died. My brother is injured. I..I just want to contemplate life. You know..."
Dr. Death nodded his head. "Sure then. You can just stay in the Main Tent. There is a little room beside you. Don't worry, I have my own tent.
Gerard smiled. "Thank you, Death."
Dr. Death smiled. "You're welcome."
Gerard moved his things inside the room. Then..Gerard took a glance at himself in the mirror. The red hair of his was boring him out.
"Um..Death?" Gerard said, sticking out his head from his room. "Do you have some black hair dye?" Dr. Death Defying looked at Gerard. "You wanna change that hair of yours? It's wonderful already." Gerard smiled mildly. "Nah. I have a habit of changing it every year."
Dr. Death nodded. "Noted." He tossed Gerard a bottle. "Help your hair."
Gerard nodded a thank you then rushed inside. He unscrewed the bottle and put some in his hand. He rubbed his hair and then after a lot of hours, he was done. He looked in the mirror, satisfied.
When he stepped outside, it was already night. Gerard's new black hair whipped in the wind, giving him the feeling of somewhat happiness.
Dr. Death passed by him as Gerard headed to the canteen. "Oh, Mr. Way! Nice hair."
Gerard gave a small smile. "Thank you sir."
Dr. Death Defying tapped Gerard's back and left.
Gerard arrived at the canteen. The aroma of fried chicken filled the air, and people were bustling around as usual. Some teenagers bumped him. "Sh**," Gerard said silently. How teenagers scare the living hell out of him...
As Gerard strided through the stalls, people were staring at him and whispering to one another. Gerard just looked down and walked away. He was used to it.
"Oh my God he is so hot.."
"Is that..Gerard? He became so..."
"Who is he..? So devilishly handsome..."
Gerard was sick of these comments. He quickly bought coffee and headed back to his tent.

Gerard's new tent was simple. There was a mirror, a bed, his bag beside it, and an electric guitar and amplifier belonging to Dr. Death Defying. Gerard slumped on his bed and brought out his sketchpad and began sketching another part of his life.

Father...gone...Mother...gone...Mikey...injured....

Once he finished drawing, he drank his coffee and went to sleep.
The next morning, he woke up to the sound of Dr. Death's knocking of the door.
"Gerard?"
"Yes, sir?"
"May I come in?"
"Yes, sir."
Dr. Death went inside, paper in hand. "Since you are living in my tent temporarily, I would like to give you some jobs. Here's the schedule."
Dr. Death Defying handed the paper he was holding to Gerard. "8:00AM-11:00AM, there would be a meeting for the leaders. I would like you to assist me in making the presentation and the powerpoint."
Gerard nodded. "Yes, sir."
"Next, 11:00AM-12:00NN is our lunchbreak. I would like you to play some tunes for them to, you know, relax."
Gerard began to smile a bit. "Okay, sir."
"12:00NN-3:00PM, I would be training in the Water Training, because the real coach was injured. Help me by making sure they are doing their proper behavior and help failing ones."
Gerard bit his lip. He hates water. "Y-yes sir."
Dr. Death Defying smiled. "Scared of water?"
Gerard did a slight nod, which made Dr. Death Defying laugh so hard. "Okay, okay. 12:00NN onwards, do your regular schedule."
Gerard did a sigh of relief. "Thank you, sir."
Dr. Death Defying looked at his watch. "Uhm..it's 7:00AM..so I will give you my powerpoint and you just edit it. Heard you were good at arts."
Gerard suppressed a small grin. "Thank you, sir. For the conpliment."
Dr. Death just smiled. "Don't mention. Anyways, here's the USB and the laptop."
Dr. Death handed a black bag to Gerard, who took it carefully.
"I-I will do my best." Gerard said.
Dr. Death smiled. "I know. And you know, many are crushin' on 'ya 'cuz of 'yo hairstyle."
Gerard smiled. "Okay."
Dr. Death left the room, and Gerard started on the powerpoint.

The presentation finally came, and Gerard was dressed in some pair of formal clothes, which made Patrick, Ryan, and others approve. Surprisingly, Pete agreed it suited a guy like Gerard.
After the presentation, Patrick and Pete went to Gerard. "God, that was hella good! Wayyy better than Dr. Death's slides before. They were so hella boring. Right, Peteachu?"
Pete nodded. "Of course, Trick."
Gerard bent a bit lower to be in eye contact to the little couple. "I edited his powerpoint. I agree; it is hella boring."
Pete and Patrick snickered. "Okay, cash me outside, how 'bout dah?" Pete said to Patrick. "Still gotta talk to Dr. Death."
Patrick nodded. "Sure. Okay. Bye you two!"
Gerard and Pete both waved goodbye to the smol bean. "Bye!"
Patrick and Gerard walked outside the tent, conversing about random things. Suddenly, Patrick said, "Why aren't you sleeping with Mr. Iero anymore? Any fight between you two?"
Gerard shook his head solemnly. "I just wanted to..you know...contemplate life."
Patrick nodded. "Ah."
Gerard smiled. "Let's practice? Target practice?"
Patrick smiled too. "Yes!"
Gerard grabbed his gun from the side of the Main Tent and ran to catch up with Patrick Stumph.

They have been doing this for months without distraction. The eighteen-year-olds battle in Britain was moved due to the lack of practice. Gerard completely forgot about Frank, until one day...
