Night falls quickly after and the two friends rush home, speechless. Half of Skye inside wishes she never mouthed off to the Seelie Queen but the other half pat her on the back congratulating her.

For one last time, Skye looks at her surrounding. The last beautiful Realm. The humans have polluted the other ones immensely. Tears stream down her face and stain her dress. Jeremy hugs her to him an whispers that it will be okay but she shakes him off.

"It's all my fault!" She cries, shoving away from him. He catches up with her and stops her with himself.

"No," He says, firmly. "The Seelie Queen set us up. You know that. Skye. I am proud of you!" He smiles, faintly and they start walking again.

"I hate myself. My blabber mouth got us in trouble." Skye keeps scolding herself. Jeremy sighs, but says nothing of this.

They arrive at the tree that Skye lives in. Her sad eyes take in the beautiful bark and tries to hug the circumference. Failing she gives up and smiles weakly at Jeremy, "Thank you for walking me home, J..."

"It was my pleasure. I-" he trails off and spins around, "I'll meet you here at Dawn. Not a second later," stalking off, he rushes home.

With Skye on his mind, he packs his clothes and unpacks, trying to get her out. It fails and he gives in, to the thoughts.

Her beautiful light blue hair trailing to just above her toes. Her aqua colored eyes staring wide at him. Her full blue lips are puckered. He sees her slim body and resists the mental urge to embrace her.

Blinking out of his daze, Jeremy slowly slides down his bedspread and onto the floor. Skye's image isn't the thing that disgusts him. He is. How he wanted to touch her and how he never wants to leave her alone for a moment as if she'll disappear into thin air in a matter of seconds.

'That is all I am,' he thinks, miserably to himself, 'just like the other boys in my school'

In high school, Skye was always swarmed with guys that pretended they were only friends and although she didn't know it, they all wanted to go out with her. None of all of the guys even dared ask her. Jeremy was the shy guy, hidden in the shadows wishing she would just notice him.

But she did! After they graduated, Skye hung out with him often, she forgot about other guys, and didn't date. But Jeremy knew they weren't dating either.

Slumping into his bed, he stares at his ceiling wondering if she feels the same way.

Skye lies down on her bed, wearing just a towel (there is slits in the back so her wings aren't jumbled up). Her hair is still wet after her shower, and she couldn't tell if she is crying or if it is just water droplets.

She pulls on a pair of small monkey Pajamas that obviously had slits in them to, (all of her clothes do. That is what most Faeries do. Some have even started making clothes like that!) and opens up a book trying to drown her sorrows.

A half an hour later she throws the book away with disgust. Her pain just escapes her and she screams. The tears she held in for so long flood down her face as she throws her first tantrum in 14 years. How could the Seelie Queen banish them for something they hadn't done? Thoughts flew through her rapidly and she struggles to answer the questions.

"How?!" She shrieks, knowing she was overly angry and should stop throwing her fit. But she is no longer in control. Her emotions are leaking out uncontrollably. "She hates me. Never wanted me! Why did she frame Jeremy then? She's always liked him!"

A short knock at the door startles her. Turning slightly she yells, "get in!" And the door opens.

It is Clover SimpleBerry. She is wearing her normal green dress to match her green eyes and emerald wings that are slightly ripped. Her eyes are wide as if she is frightened. "Are you okay, Skye?" She asks, in her soft, musical tone.

Skye rubs her temples, trying to stop the moaning that is trapped inside of her. Smiling tentatively, she nods her head, "of course I am Clover. Why wouldn't I be okay?" Her voice cracks but Clover doesn't seem to notice.

"It doesn't seem as though you are okay," Clover says slowly, turning her head to the side and sniffing. "You could hear your rampage from a few miles away!"

"Oh that!" Skye laughs, halfheartedly, "That was nothing to worry about. Just me being stupid. I...stubbed my toe..."

"It couldn't have been that painful to cause all of that ruckus!" Clover jokes then lowers her voice, "I heard about what happened with the Seelie Queen."

Skye groans, throwing her hands in the air. "This is why I have almost no friends!" She cries out, loudly.

Clover winces, looking around. She holds a finger to her mouth to signal Skye to quiet down, "don't worry, old friend. I have no need to spread the word. I am here to wish you luck on your journeys. Maybe you will find a home you find acceptable. I know you didn't steal the crown. Maybe one day, you will discover the monsters who framed you!"

Skye grimaces, "I already know..." She murmurs quietly, so her friend cannot hear. In a louder voice she says, "Thank you, mon ami," she links her arm with Clover's and smiles a bit. "With you wishing me luck, I know I will find it!"

A peal of laughter shakes Clover, "So true, girl. Now I must be leaving. Last I heard, Jeremy hasn't packed a thing. I must go help him."

Skye nods and hugs again. "I will be seeing you?"

Clover shakes her head, suddenly grim, "I doubt it. If I do though, it may be in another lifetime."

Once again they hug and Skye waves goodbye just as she sees the tip of the sun rising.
