Dawn. The most beautiful part of the day. Almost every Faerie awakes early in the Morning just to see this. Now as he sees it, Jeremy feels a knot in his stomach. It will be the first one he appreciates but the last one he will ever see no doubt.

Now as he is walking, as quickly as he could, to Skye's tree, he tries his best not to miss a single second of it. Yawning, makes it hard not to close his eyes, yet somehow he manages.

He arrives to her home and knocks lightly on the pine door. It swings open, and Skye, looking eternally beautiful with her hair pulled into a braid steps out. She smiles slightly and looks past him at the rising sun.

"I wish we never had to leave..." She murmurs, gazing at Jeremy. He sees tiny drops of tears forming in her eyes and sliding down her cheeks and reaches to wipe then away.

"I know. There is no Realm as beautiful as this one. If we didn't have the Seelie Queen, it would be pure." He muses, stroking her hair. They close the door and head for the street slowly.

"There you two are. I thought I wouldn't make it here in time." An impeccably familiar voice calls. They spin around and there stands Feather in her dark gown with her black demonic wings. "I have a few words to say."

Jeremy feels Skye start to tremble and bites down on his tongue. "So say it!" He snarls, putting an arm around Skye.

The Queen raises an eyebrow at the two. Her hands are placed on her hips, mockingly. "I know you did it. And as soon as you leave, the Pixies will do a thorough search through your homes. If they have to tear them apart they will. When we find my crown, I will send my best Forces to eliminate you two."

"But we didn't take it!" Skye shouts, angrily pulling away from Jeremy as if she is going to attack. He keeps a firm grip on her wrists and holds her back. "It had to be you! You are going to plant the crown in one of our homes for them to find!"

"So what if I do?" She asks menacingly. "The Court does not believe in who they think are liars! They will believe me and then you will be out of my way!" She chuckles and Skye roars with anger.

"So it was you!" Jeremy seethes.

Feather shrugs, "maybe it was, maybe it was not." She spins on her heels and speeds away. Jeremy and Skye turns to walk in the opposite direction, out of Fay Bay.

Dusk is approaching and Skye is overcome by fatigue. She yawns and stumbles over the side of a road. Her eyes are dilated and she could see a little but sleep gathering in her eyes doesn't help.

Jeremy is watching her with worried eyes. Pained, he grabs her shoulder and uses it to help her forward. She tries to protest but it was too overwhelming.

"Jeremy..." She murmurs, trying to look into his perfect golden locks.

"Shhh..." He coos, placing his index finger in her mouth. Picking her up, he carried her in his arms.

Skye tries again, "Jeremy," she tries to sit up but fails and gives up, snuggling up against his chest. She could feel it rising and falling as he breathes and also his abs.

Jeremy relaxes, seeming finally calm after a long day of walking. He stares ahead smiling to himself and wondering why he had never tried this before. She was so quiet. He wonders if she fell asleep in his arms. He feels her wings flap a bit and shifts his arms so they could stretch.

Knowing she was asleep he bends softly to her ear and whispers, "I love you."

Skye has never felt this comfortable in ages. She feels her consciousness slip away and falls quickly into a deep slumber.

Skye is alone in the woods. All around her is quiet. Not a single noise. This makes her feel unright and she goes to try and find what is causing it to be so quiet.

"Hello?" She asks, to no one in particular. When there is no answer, she presses forward repeating her question eager for someone. Anyone.

Finally there is an answer, "Hello, Skye. I have been waiting for you," the voice isn't at all familiar and Skye wonders who it could be.

In front of her is a man. He is no older than she is and has dark purple wings. His eyes are clouded over so she cannot understand if he is angry or happy to see her. Suddenly she knows who it is. It is-

Skye wakes up still in Jeremy's grip, breathing heavily. She vaguely noticed he has stopped walking and is now resting. Who was the man? How could she not remember? She just had the dream!

Not wanting to wake Jeremy, Skye swiftly gets out of his arms, letting her wings stretch out fully. Why do we have wings anyways? She asks herself, momentarily forgetting her troubles, it isn't like we use them.

With a final glance at Jeremy, Skye rests against a tree to regain more of her lost strength.
