Cat

I sit on the ground and cry. Jake sits on the ground next to me and wraps his arms around me, pulling me into a hug.

"What's wrong?" He asks. I show him the comment.

"Who said that?"

"Lia," I say trying to stop crying.

"Lia as in one of your best friends?" He asks. I nod as a few more tears slip.

"Why would she do that?"

"She likes you." I sigh as I stop crying.

"She does?" He asks smiling. I get up and run back to my mom with tears pouring out of my eyes. I trip due to the tears making my eyes all blurry.

"Oww," I say rubbing my ankle.

"Catrina!" Jake yells running to me.

"Stay away," I say getting up and trying to run away. I fall down again.

"Ow!" I wince at the pain in my ankle.

"Cat." He says trying to help me up.

"GET AWAY!" I yell making Caleb look at us. He runs over.

"What's going on?" He asks.

"Jake likes Lia," I mumble.

"JAKE!" He says angrily.

"I don't like Lia!"

"I told you she liked you and you smiled."

"I smiled because I'm stupid." He mumbles.

"Why are you on the floor?" Caleb asks me.

"My ankle."

"What about it?"

"I think i twisted it." Caleb frowns and holds out a hand.

"I can't walk." I sigh.

"Limp." I sigh and grab his hand. Then I put my arm around his neck and my other arm around Jake's who had his arm around my waist for support. I limp to my mom.

"What did you do this time?" She asks.

"I think I twisted my ankle," I mumble. She sighs and calls Annie and Hayley to get in the car.

"Why did we have to leave?" Hayley asks.

"Catrina did something to her ankle." She sighs. When we get to the doctor they check it out.

"Can you roll up your pant leg?" The doctor asks me. I nod and roll it up. It reveals a purple, puffy ankle.

"How did this happen?"

"I was running and I tripped." I sigh. He nods and takes a couple x-rays. I sigh when he leaves to go get the stuff for a cast.

"How are you going to do gymnastics with a cast?" Annie asks.

"I'm not." I sigh. After he wraps my leg in the cast and then gives me a pair of crutches.

"You will be in the cast for 2 months." He sighs.

"2 months? That means I'll miss the tournament." I complain.

"You can start doing gymnastics that doesn't involve the foot in a month." He nods helping me off the bed.

"Great," I mumble grabbing the crutches and walking to the car.

"I'm so clumsy," I mumble to myself as we drive home.
