Chapter 18

5 Months later: It's July 12th

Jake's POV

"Hey Cutie." I smile knocking on Cat's door. She was filming. "Hey dork." She laughs. "Whatcha doin?" I ask. "a haul." she smiles. "You're gonna be 13 tomorrow." I smile. "I know. Imma be you're age." She laughs kissing my cheek. "I love you baby girl." I smile cuddling into her neck. "I love you too." She laughs. "Now shoo. I have to film." She laughs. I sit on her bed. A lot has changed in the past 5 months. 

1) Cat and Caleb finally got separate rooms.

2) Cat and I have been dating for 11 months.

3) Cat is back in gymnastics
And that's pretty much it. After Cat finishes filming and puts away her camera she plops on her bed. "Ugh life is boring." She sighs. "CATRINA, JAKE, CALEB WE ARE GOING TO THE MALL... AGAIN!" her mom yells. "Well let's go." I laugh. We all get into the car and sing to the radio as her mom takes us. When we get there Cat gets out and runs to the main doors. "CAT!" I laugh running after her. We run in and stop waiting for the rest of her family. "Ok. I'm guessing Cat and Jake will run off, Caleb will either go with them or go by himself and Hayley and Annie will stay with me." Her mom says. "About right." Caleb and Cat laugh. All three of us walk into a random store and Cat looks for clothes. "Cat you have enough clothes." Caleb groans. He hands him $20. Go buy us Starbucks. Caramel Frappuccino for me and what every you two want." She laughs looking at a pair of overall shorts. "Get me just an iced coffee." I laugh. "Ok." He laughs running to Starbucks. I look back at Cat and she already had an outfit prepared." That's cute." I laugh. "I know. I'm going to wear it tomorrow." She smiles. I kiss her forehead. After 20 minutes Caleb comes back and Cat was paying. "Took you long enough." She laughs carrying 2 bags and grabbing her drink. "I have to go buy you you're guys's birthday gifts. I'll meet you at Sephora or something." I laugh. "OHH I DO HAVE TO GO TO SEPHORA. COME ON CALEB!" She squeals grabbing his hand and pulling him. He hands me my drink and I walk in the opposite direction. I walk into a random clothing store. I look around and buy her an outfit. I pay and then go to a different store to get a penny board because Cat broke her other one. I find one and buy it. I then go to a gaming store and buy 2k15 (It's 2015 cause that's when Caleb. You know. Yeah.) and Super Mario Maker. I also get Just Dance for me. I pay and then go to Sephora. I see Caleb and he gives me a pleading look. I laugh and run over to them. "This was the worst idea ever. Never leave me with her alone in a makeup store." He laughs looking at my bags. "What you get?" He asks looking in the bags. "NO!" I laugh. He looks at me with confused eyes. "You're birthday gift is in there." I laugh. "Ohh." He chuckles. I turn to look at Cat but she was gone.  "Cat." I groan looking for her. She was at the check out with like $100 dollars worth of makeup. "Oh god." I groan. She pays and then we go looking for Katie and the girls. When we find them we all leave. "Cat how much did you spend?" Her mom asks her when we start driving to her house. She nervously laughs which makes me chuckle.
