Being Caleb's Twin Sister {Editing}

Chapter 38

Catrina's POV

~3 years later~

3 years. It's been 3 years since Caleb has passed. I'm now 16, Annie's 13, and Hayley is 9. Jaxson and I are also 3 years strong. 

"So, today, I'm going to be doing the 'Who Knows Me Best Tag'," I smile looking at the camera sitting in front of me. "I'm here with my father and my lovely boyfriend, Jaxson." I point to each of them. 

The video takes almost a half hour to film because Jaxson wouldn't stop goofing off, but once it finally does end, I'm glad. 

"I'm tired," I mumble, looking up at Jaxson.

"I'm leaving tomorrow," He reminds me.

"Ugh, don't remind me. I'm gonna miss you," I sigh placing a kiss onto his cheek. He smiles and kisses my nose.

"But I'll always be a call away," He smiles. 

"But I'd rather see you in person," I whine kissing his jawline. He smiles and kisses my neck.

"Watch it you two!" My dad says as his head appears in the doorway. I smile at him and give him an innocent smile. 

"What's wrong, Daddy?" I ask, batting my eye lashes.

"That was cute when you were 5. That was 11 years ago," He laughs before disappearing. My phone buzzes next to me. I groan and pick it up.

"Hello?" I mumble.

"Hey, Come over?" Jake asks on the other end. After a year of not talking, he texted me telling me he was sorry for overreacting. I even found out why he broke up with me. He was diagnosed with depression and thought he had to do it alone. 

"Jax and I will be there soon," I smile into the phone. The call ends and I look up at Jaxson.

"Jake?" He asks. I nod. He smiles and stands up. He then grabs my hand and pulls me out of my room and out of the house. 

At first, Jax was jealous of Jake since we'd dated in the past. But he got over it. And now they're best friends. And the burden of our relationship disappeared over time. 

Jax doesn't even knock on the door. He just throws the door open, says hello to his mother, and walks up to Jake's room.

"Jax, my man!" Jake smiles as he bro hugs Jax. 

"Hey, Cat," He smiles at me, pulling me into a hug. I hug him back before plopping on his bed. We hang out at his house until like 10 before heading back home. 

By the time we got home, Hayley was already asleep. I walk over to her and give her a quick kiss on the forehead before walking into Annie's room and hugging her goodnight. hen I go to my mother's room and hug and kiss both her and my father. Then I change in the bathroom and lay in my bed, cuddling up next to Jax. 

"Goodnight. I love you," I whisper, kissing him softly.

"I love you too," He smiles.
