Being Caleb's Twin Sister {Editing}

Chapter 29

*The next morning*

"Mom is taking us to the mall. Want to go?" Annie asks. "No," I sigh looking at her. "Ok. Well, we'll see you soon," She nods.I hug her and let her go. Hugging my family before they leave is something I've done since Caleb's death. You never know what could happen. I hug my mom and Hayley before they leave. I walk back to my room but as I do, I stare at the ceiling. There was a little hook thing, leading to the attic. I haven't been up there for years. Caleb and I used to hide up there. We called it Twin Land. I grab a chair and pull it over. I stand on it and pull the hook. A ladder falls down and I climb it. There was a lot of boxes up here, but our bean bag chairs were still in the corner. Our stupid "Catrina and Caleb only" sign. It was like we left it so many years ago. I look at one of the boxes. It was filled with CDs. All of them being homemade and about our lives. I take one of them and get out of the attic, shutting it behind me. I put the CD in my laptop and press the space bar as the video played. The first video segment was my mom holding both me and Caleb. "Do you have any names?" A nurse asks my mom. "Catrina and Caleb," She replies the nurse nods. "Those are pretty. And they git your totally gorgeous babies," She smiles. It cuts and there's a new video of me crying. "I can't get her to stop," My mom sighs looking at the camera. "Here," My dad says as they switch baby for the camera. My mom records as my dad put me in a crib with Caleb.  Instantly stop crying. The third clip is one that I was recording. We were probably 7. I was messing with Caleb's face. "Stop it Buttface," He laughs. "I don't want to Nerdbrain," I laugh back. "Did you mean birdbrain?" He asks laughing. I look at him with a confused look. "I win," He laughs. The video goes on. Tears fall down my cheeks as I watch them. I will always treasure this video.
