I know this update is a bit short and a couple days overdue, but I think you guys will really enjoy it! ;)

“So, Mr. Horan, how are you feeling today?” Mr. Cowell asked me.

Horrible.

“I’m fine Mr. Cowell.” I answered back.

He eyes me suspiciously. “You don’t look fine. You look… tired.”

That’s because I was up half the night, sobbing, as I emptied the contents of my stomach.

“I was up late last night studying for a test.” I lied.

“How late did you stay up? You know, sleep is very important, more important than school sometimes.” I could hear the concern in his voice.

I cried myself to sleep, in a fetal position, in front of the toilet, at three something in the morning. Does that count as sleep?

I shrugged. “It was an important test.”

“Are you sure you’re feeling alright?” He asked, still sounding very concern.

No! I am far from alright. I can still feel the food in me, sitting heavily in my body, turning into more fat. I look and feel like a beach whale, does that sound like I am alright?

“Yeah, I’m fine. Can we hurry up though? Liam’s waiting for me outside.” Not a complete lie. Liam is really waiting for me, but I more want to get away from Mr. Cowell’s questions.

Mr. Cowell raised an eyebrow at me. “I thought we discussed that there is to be no tutoring on Fridays?”

I started shifting around in my chair uncomfortably. “We’re not tutoring. I’m staying at his house tonight. We’re just hanging out.” Why did I feel the need to explain that?

“Oh yes, I forgot that you and Mr. Payne are friends. You guys are pretty close aren’t you?” He asked with amusement and something else in his eyes. I don’t know what that something else is, but it made me feel even more uncomfortable.

“Um… I guess you can say that.” I mumbled out. I really just want this to be over so I can leave.
