Before I knew my head was being pulled back and my body collided with a wall. The man stood up, and smiled down at me.
"Get up princess, we have been waiting on you for a very long time".
Confused, I slowly sat up. Numbness flooded my body and I realized that I must be in hell. I had drank blood, and enjoyed it. The stranger did not let me ponder long before he yanked my arm up and pulled me upstairs. I arrived in a room that had no windows and nothing but a bed sitting on the floor. It was not empty, however; four men and a woman surrounded it. All of them just as emotionless as the next.
"Who are you"? I managed to croak out after miserable long minutes of silence.
"Who we are does not matter, what we can do for you is the important part", the woman spoke first.
The air in the room seemed to get thicker, if my body could still breathe it would have been damaging. I sat there taking in the strangers and it occured to me that no matter what they say, I am in hell. There is no other explanation for the series of unfortunate events that have forced themselves upon my soul in the last few hours.
"Where is Elijah"? The sentence left my mouth before I realized. His face filled my mind and suddenly he was all that made sense. I needed to find him. I needed to get answers. I needed to be taken away from this nightmare.
One man laughed, and cold chills ran up my spine.
"Just the reason you're here", he hissed.
The women took my arm and sat me down on the bed.
"King Elijah murdered you 134 years ago at the request of his father in order to gain the thrown. Time has passed and his kingdom does not exist in modern times but he is still very much king of the undead. We have brought you back in order to kill him and set our people free. You are the last known person that he loved. He is a vampire. We are vampires. You, Amelia, are a vampire".
