Perrie's POV
I am now sitting on a bench at the club's balcony. I may have or may have not drank a lot, I hate drinking but it helped me calm my nerves down. Then when I started to feel light headed, I decided to go outside to find some peace, the noise inside is adding to my headache. I know I looked pathetic sitting here outside, alone in the dark, but I don't care.
"What would someone be doing here? The party is inside." a soft voice snapped me out of my reverie.
I looked up to see the angelic face of none other than Jade Thirlwall. What is she doing here? I mean, shouldn't she be inside busy socializing with other high profiles like her? She cocked her head to the side and raised her eyebrows like she's waiting on something. Then I remembered she asked me a question.
"Uhm I uh.. n-nothing. I just... just want so-someplace quiet." I said. What the hell? Why am I stuttering?
"Oh, I should leave you alone then." she smiled sheepishly.
"No! It's... it's okay." I smiled shyly up at her. Why is she talking to me? And really? Stuttering again?
"Do you mind if I sit here?" she gestured to the space beside me.
"Not at all... please." I scooted further to the other side of the bench to give her enough space. Jesus Christ! Jade Thirlwall is sitting right beside me! What is she doing?
We sat in silence, enjoying the clear starry sky and the muffled sound of the music from the club. I don't know why, usually I get easily intimidated just by the presence of someone famous, but right now with her, I don't... Maybe it's the alcohol, giving me a little confidence.
"That was amazing." she said breaking the silence.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Your performance. It's amazing." she said nervously.
"Oh.. you don't have to flutter me. But thank you." I scoffed.
"It's true! You were amazing..." she chimed. She thinks I'm amazing? Oh, I just died!
"You're Perrie right?" she asked.
"Yeah, Perrie Edwards."
"I'm Jad-" she started.
"Jade Thirlwall" I cut her off. Does she think I don't know her?
"I know you. I mean, who wouldn't? You're THE Jade Thirlwall, the world's best choreographer!" I whisper-shouted.
"Oh please! You know that's not true." she chuckled.
"Well it is.. You just won an award for it, remember?" I teased. She laughed, and it's so adorable!
"It's nice to meet you Perrie." she smiled at me as she offered her hand. I immediately took it with mine and shook it. Her hand is so soft and tiny... cute! Wait! Did I just held Jade Thirlwall's hand?? Oh my God!
"So.. care to tell me why you're here and not inside?" she asked.
"I'd rather not talk about it." I answered harshly.
"Oh okay... sorry." she replied embarrassed then looked down fumbling her fingers.
I instantly regret it. I didn't mean to be rude, it's just that what happened earlier inside was so frustrating, I don't wanna remember it at all.
I was about to apologize for my behavior when a cold gush of wind blew at us and I felt my body shivering. Jeez, what was I thinking? Going outside in a dress like this! I noticed her taking her jacket off and I looked at her confused.
"Here, wear this." she said as she hand me her jacket. I stared at her shocked and shy at the same time.
"Oh.. no, I'm fine." I refused. Man, she's so sweet!
"It's cold out here, take it. Please." she insists, and I can't say no.
I tried to take the jacket from her, but instead, she opened it for me and put it around me. She's such a gentlewoman. I mumbled a small 'thanks' and smiled at her. Oh my God! I'm wearing Jade freaking Thirlwall's jacket! And boy, it's so warm, must be from her own body heat. Oh gosh, I think I'm gonna die... again! Perrie, stop fangirling! I scolded myself at my own thoughts.
"Are you okay?" she asked. Oh God please don't tell me she noticed it.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks again." I said. She just nodded.
"Hey, I'm sorry by the way. I didn't mean to be rude earlier. I.. I-" I tried to explain but she cut me off.
"It's okay, you don't have to apologize to me. I was being cocky, it should be me saying sorry." she said with a sad smile. Oh what have I done?
We stayed there in silence again, no one's trying to break it. A little awkwardness in the air. Until her phone rang, she answered it and I try not to eavesdrop. I can sense her mood changing.
"Hey, I've got to go, there's something I need to take care of." she said as she hang up.
"Yeah, sure. Here's your jacket." I said as I started to remove her jacket from my shoulders.
"No, keep it. Please. You need it more than I do." she stopped me and smiled sweetly. And I couldn't say no.. again.
"It's really nice meeting you Perrie. I hope this isn't the last time we see each other." she said with that sweet voice of hers and stood up.
"Nice to meet you too. And I'm sure this isn't the last." I said and stood up. She looked at me in the eyes and smiled. Gosh! Her eyes are so beautiful!
Then she stepped a bit closer and tucked some loose strands of hair behind my ear. My breath hitches and I stay still, wide-eyed, trying so hard not to lean in to her touch.
"Bye Perrie." she said and walked back in to the club.
"Bye Jade." I sighed.
I stood there, dumbfounded. How can she be that gorgeous? She should be illegal!
