HIIII ya'll so I'm trying to publish this one today and  sorry if there's a cliff hanger!

Sophie's POV

"So" Keefe started "Your not getting off of me?"

I laughed "Nope I'm comfy!"

"I'm not, Foster how many custard bursts did you eat!?"

I flipped over so I was no my stomach and faced him "I ate as many as I pleased"

He poked my nose until I got off, and stood up.  All of a sudden Keefe's eyes went wide, "Soph, did you close the portal!?" I stared at Keefe, "Closed? It closed on It's own...."  Keefe was about to say more when a jolt of gray light hit him in the chest. He screamed and thrashed in pain, electricity formed gray bonds holding him down. "KEEFE KEEFE!" I called "What have I done?!"

Figures in black cloaks with pulled down hoods and meddlers pointed at me came pouring into the  room. I tried inflecting on them but saw when I did Keefe also was affected. Seeing him scream and thrash was to much. So I ran up to them to put up a fight.

The room became an endless maze, I was battered and bruised but still able to walk. I grabbed a now semi conscious Keefe and put his arm around my shoulder and began to run.

There were five of the ten Neverblaze members still conscious and it was five to many. They didn't have any weapons but that could change if they picked one of the fallen ones. So I did what I could and ran.

The room developed  into a moving labyrinth pieces shifting and stairs turning upside down. I ran up a flight of stars dragging Keefe and stopping at the top to re-adjust his arm around my neck. That's when I saw a few very confused Neverblaze members standing upside down on the stair way above us. Apparently gravity has different rules here. I had in idea! Floating stairs were next, each a jumping distance apart. Since jumping wasn't an option I levitated us both to every other step.

I finally reached the top of the floating stairs before running up a ramp and climbing a rock wall(Which I levitated Keefe over). Exhausted I kept on running. The Neverblaze having collected themselves chased after us. I had a head start but was injured, tired, and dragging a person bigger then me. I used as much energy as I could to give myself brain pushes but they were to small to be of any help. The closed in a semi circle and took there time walking at the same time closer and closer. I backed up with Keefe in my arms bridle style. He was heavy but I managed. All of a sudden I heard the ground crack. I turned around to see that the tie dye rock was falling, landing 200 feet below us with a sickening crunch. I gulped as more of the platform caved in.  I had a plan but I wasn't sure it would work. But now we had no option so I jumped.

Falling...

       Falling...

                Falling...

             ...Falling

  ...Falling

                     Falling...

                                        Falling...

                                                          Falling...

                                                                         Falling...

Further then 200 feet for sure. I tried concentrating but a portal wouldn't open. Then I saw the ground rush up. We still fell but  the ground we were to land on separated from the rest and moved towards us. I closed my eyes and hugged Keefe tighter. "Good bye" I whispered.
