Two months later! Fitz and Sophie had made up and been working extra hard to fix there cognate bond, The council agreed to let them stay in the forbidden cities until Christmas, and every break they come home and visit their families. They would leave the week before summer vacation was over, and also idk when Keefe or Sophie's bdays are so I'm gonna say they are.... you'll see!

Keefe's POV

I sighed and dangled my head over the edge of my bed. One week till we left for the forbidden cities, one week. Ediline, Forkle(who lets say is not dead, Squall, and Della were are adult chaperones. Me, Foster, Tam, Lihn, Biana, and Fitz. I still hadn't forgiven him but he had a reason. Reason or no putting Sophie in danger was a big no no! speaking of Sophie she'd been so busy with Fitz doing cognate stuff that I hadn't seen her in weeks. Maybe today would be different. I flipped open my imparter.

"CALL FOSTER" soon Fosters face appeared she had dirt smudges on her face and I hoped she was ok but the worried glances over her shoulder told a million. Her face lit up when she saw me "Keefe I'm coming wait outside  next the cliff by your house." Before I had a chance to answer she blinked out. I took a deep breath and ran to the bathroom to fix The Hair.

When I looked in the mirror I saw something I didn't think was still there. When we as a shocked Tam described it, made a Shadow Leap we turned into shadows, my hair still had one streak of it. I touched the black streak and I felt cool and misty. I fingered it for a few seconds before remembering I was supposed to meet Foster. So as I grabbed a cloak and raced out the door I ran a hand through my hair hoping to hide the black streak.

I soon was at the cliff edge. No Foster yet. Then I heard a CRACK-BOOM and a very flustered Foster landed in my arms. "Aw can't help falling for me?' I said with a smirk. She jumped up and landed on her feet, that's a first.

"Keefe no time for jokes we have to go NOW!" Foster yelled grabbed my arm and hurtled us over the edge of the cliff. We both were falling I had my arms around her, and unlike me her eyes were closed in deep concentration. Then another CRACK-BOOM and we fell into the void.

Then POP! and we landed in a grass field Sophie jumped up from where she sat on my chest and raced over to a cave  which entrance was hidden by a willows long wavy branches.

"Keefe long time no see!" Sophie yelled and hugged me. There was nothing romantic about it but I hugged her back. She backed away and looked me up and down. You have a streak to? She said holding up one of her braids where a bit of black zigzagged through her hair. She almost looked like Anna from that Frozen movie we watched on her IPod. I held up my tuft of black hair to, and we both started laughing.

"Were like Percy and Annabeth with are hair!" Sophie said making us laugh harder. She had forced me to read some human books including everything by Rick Riodan, Raina Telemanger, And books like Harry Potter, Thrones of glass, etc etc. I knew she was talking about the time Percy and Annabeth got grey streaks from holding up the world, but I didn't mention weather she implied it or not but Annabeth was Percy's girlfriend.... Just putting it out there.

"So what was the rush, and why did yo wait to do introductions here?"

She winced then smiled "I wanted to make sure we were on time"

"Time for what?"

"This" She grabbed my hand and raced towards the cave.

Inside the cave I saw a nervous Grayfall pacing and give a short whinny of greeting. Then he turned stock still and I guessed that meant Sophie was talking to him. Then he trotted through another curtain of willow into a larger room. We followed him and up a passage to where tons of sanctuary workers were running around but crouched down were two familiar figures

"Hey Mom, hi Dad" Sophie said walking up to Grady and Ediline.
