Ch. 50 blink

Sophie's POV

I tossed and turned, not being able to sleep. 

School started in the morning, this upcoming morning.

 I tried to ignore the butterfly's that flitted around my stomach like in a hurricane but they would not stop.  

It was no use trying to sleep anymore.

  I sat up and held Ella close, so close that I could small the years of memories on her, close enough to remember that she was the one that had gotten me through some of the most heartbreaking moments of my life and this wouldn't be one of them.

I unplugged my phone which had been charging at our bedside table and started to browse NETFLIX to see what they had added since I'd been gone.

As I scrolled through my recommendations bar I saw an old favorite of mine Total Drama Island.

As I looked through it I noticed I'd only watched the first season and had at least 4 more seasons to go before it was over. 

The theme song played and as I began to watch season two of Total Drama Action.

Keefe's POV

Last night when we had gone to bed Tam and Sophie passed out as soon as their heads hit the pillow, me not so much.

I stared at the blank ceiling trying not to think about anything.

I rolled over and my eyes wandered over to Sophie.

Do people look younger when they sleep? At least she does.

No 14 year old should have to go through what she had to, but she did.

It's not like she looked older like with wrinkles she just appeared older the way her eyes had lost that same glow and she just didn't I don't know, look like how a 14 year old girl should.

Not that I'm complaining....And with that my eyes fluttered shut.

When I woke up again I saw her face illuminated in the glow of a screen devise that humans call phones.

SOPHIE'S BEING POSSESSED!! I thought at first.

She had her eyes fixed on these moving pictures and wasn't blinking.

Ok now she blinked.
