Lauren's POV

My eyes still heavy from the weight that's been put on them all through the night, slowly begin to breach open. As if perfectly in order, the things I see first are arranged as the most beautiful in the universe.

Camila. I see her first. Her head nestled on my arm instead of a proper pillow. Her arms looped around my body, one tangled in my own and the other draped gently over my stomach. Her face was soft, not in texture but in expression like she was placed in the most peaceful setting she could think of. I could feel her heavy breaths running down my arm, and see her body rise and fall gracefully.

Even though I promised myself I wouldn't think too strongly about Camila, I decided to have a cheat day. I can't help it that she's so perfect. It's all perfect, her personality, her dumb jokes, her laugh, her smile, her body, and the list could go on forever.

I shift a little bit back to see more of her, in her entirety. I don't know what it was about the mornings but they've always made me feel more appreciative of the beauty in the world. Maybe it was because it felt like everything is still, silent, giving me time to think and reflect on the things that should be given my attention.

Sunrise. The second thing I see. Second most beautiful, I guess it got bumped down since two weeks ago, it used to be in the number one spot. The window is positioned perfectly so I can see the rising sun right behind the person who took the number one spot. It looks as though it had just broke through the ground as it's glow wasn't very strong yet.

I lifted my head off my pillow to get a better glimpse, it's light orange glow reminded me of something I had to finish. Suddenly my peaceful state transitioned into a more rushed since I needed to get out of bed rather soon.

How would I do this without waking the smaller girl next to me? Should I at least tell her I'm getting up so she doesn't worry when woken up? I decide to tell her.

I slowly reach my hand down to one of hers and intertwine our fingers. I bring our hands up to my face to begin the wake up process.

"Camz... hey Camz," I whisper to her. No response so I decide to try another idea. I bring the back of her hand to my lips and gently kiss it, in the middle of each kiss I whisper her name.

"Camz." Kiss. "Camz." Kiss. "Come on Camz I know you're not this lazy," I begin to joke.

I see her face crack into a big smile and begin to giggle. She'd been awake longer than just a few seconds than I'd thought. "Camila Cabello, have you been up this entire time?" Apparently an interrogation is needed as early as 7 a.m. with this one.

She just opened her eyes, the huge grin still spread from cheek to cheek. Her big brown eyes suddenly seemed a lot closer than I expected. I had forgotten that she has magical powers again, I really got to write myself a post-it note reminder or something. I really hated it but I had to go quickly so I spoke up before I was able to drown in her deep irises.

"I never pegged you for a good actor but surprises are something I'm beginning to notice about you. I uh- I woke you up to tell you I need to go downstairs right now, there's something I have to finish up. Just didn't want you to worry if you didn't see me here when you woke up," I spoke softly so as to not startle her even though she might already be woken up.

I saw her face form a frown and that loving smile disappeared. "Why do you have to go now?" she asked.

"I just have to hurry before it's too late. Just stay in bed if you're still tired, no need to get up as well," I tried to reassure her. "I'm going to get up now, if you need anything just come downstairs and I'll make some breakfast later, ok?"
