Lauren's POV

It was a rainy day, as I had predicted it would be.

I stepped inside the porch and wiped my shoes on the rug. Even though the gloomy sky stirred above for the entire morning, I had been smiling. And no, not because Tucker didn't pee on the rug today, but because I had kissed this girl. This adorable, extraordinary, amazing girl. This girl I never thought would ever want me the same way I wanted her. I still remember how it felt too, the softness and passion she put into it. It was the kind of kiss that reminded me how easily I get hooked. And almost instantly... she became my favorite addiction.

I had to earlier this morning to take care of the cows in the barn but I was careful not to wake her up. She was still asleep on her bed with her hair messy and bed covers bunched up around her, still breathtaking nevertheless. I quietly left her there in the perfect position she lay to take care of the cows in the barn. It was early enough that I didn't think she'd want to get up so I left after placing a gentle kiss on her temple.

"Hey Tuck, you want some breakfast bud?" I whispered, kneeling down to pet him.

I walked over to scoop some food in his dish and noticed there was only enough for this morning, I'd have to get some more later. I set down his bowl of food before quick footsteps echoed through the house.

"Lolo!" Out of nowhere Camila came running down the stairs and jumped into my arms, giggling with excitement. I picked her up and spun her around, laughing at her bright mood so early in the morning.

She was laughing and smiling while looking into my eyes. I gently set her down after almost getting dizzy and was caught off guard with her lips crashing into mine. I moaned at the sudden impact and melted into her lips. Once we separated, we were both out of breath and smiling like crazy.

"Good morning," she said quietly and staring at my lips.

"Well good morning to you too," I said laughing.

"I'm sorry I just really needed to do that. It's really hard not to, you're an amazing kisser," she admitted.

"I know," I teased with a shrug. She just hit my arm and the corners of her mouth curving up into a grin.

"You're ridiculous. Why do I even like you?" she said stepping away from me to scour the fridge for food.

"Woah, wait... you like me? Do you like like me or just like me?" I questioned.

"Lauren I swear-" she said before I cut her off.

"You're bad at answering questions, I'm surprised you got into college." I said taking a bite of an apple. She turned around and stared at me annoyed.

"Well now I don't like you at all," she stated, rolling her eyes.

"Hey, that at least means at one point you did like me at least a little, I'll take it."

"Moving on," she said to change the subject which I personally wanted to stay on but whatever. "What do we have to do today?" she started making a bowl of cereal.

I told her I'd have to go into town for some dog food and other groceries which she decided on staying home instead because, "my hair will get frizzy in the rain". I kinda wanted to see that but she insisted I just go and come back quick.

So after we ate breakfast together, I put my rain coat and shoes back on and went on my way. Not before I pleaded for a goodbye kiss of course, which she happily complied to.

When I got to the grocery store, I grabbed a cart and took a look at the food list. At the bottom, below all the items I had listed, I saw a scribbled "bananas please" in Camila's handwriting. I smiled at her incessant need for the yellow fruit but couldn't deny her of her true love.
