I was absolutely horrified. If there was any doubt in my mind that this boy was my love, it was gone now. Here he finally is, and I am sitting here staring stupidly at him. "Your name," he said. "What is your name, love?"
Right. " My name is Perrie," I responded.
"Cool name. I like it, has a nice ring to it, Perrie" he mused.
"Now Mr. Malik, I know you're new here, but you should try to make friends after class not during," Ms. Roberts said.
" Yes ma'am," Zayn responed politely, but gave me a sly wink afterwards.
The rest of class seemed to drag on and on as I sat there resisting the urge to even look at Zayn. Occasionally I would allow myself to sneak a look at him out of the corner of my eye, but every time I looked even for a second those beautiful dark eyes found mine and a taunting smirk spead across his lips. My only response to this was to immediately look down while my face flushed. All I could think was, "I am so pathetic," over and over again. Today the bell was my savior.
I tried my hardest to leave the classroom at a normal pace instead of running for the hills and managed to get out at a fast walk. Walking fast with my head down, I almost ran right into Jade. "Perrie, slow down. You're going to knock some one over like that. I slowed my pace to match her's and we walked for a couple seconds in silence until another pair of footsteps fell into pace with our's.
"Hey look, I know that class is boring and, trust me, I wanted it to end too, but you could have at least made it look natural. I think you hurt that poor woman's feeling running out of there like that. Well there's my bus. I guess I'll see you tomorrow Perrie," Zayn said.
