Liam gets up off the bed and goes to the door and opens it. Chloe comes running to the bed and slides right to you and slip in so she is the other part of the circle. The boys walk in right behind her and look at Liam with sad faces then to you with a sad smile. You look at each of the boys and wonder if anything is going to be the same for you. You are dating a famous singer, your sister died and you are taking care of your niece, and now you have been raped twice.
“Come here please?” You ask the boys to come sit on the bed. Each of them sit on the bed with Liam behind you and rests your body on him, with Chloe in your arms. Harry is in front of you and to the right; while rubbing Chloe’s back. Niall was beside Harry while Zayn is kneeling kind of on the bed and Louis next to him sitting on the bed. You didn’t really know how to say what you wanted to say so you just go ahead and say it. “I want to thank you for believing that I wouldn’t leave Liam. That you came and found me and Chloe.” You look down at Chloe and notice that her breathing is slower and that she is about to be asleep. You smile to yourself knowing that she will sleep all night and to half the morning. “I pray that you don’t look at me any differently knowing that I was with that man and what you had seen.” A tear rolls down your cheek remembering what just happened less than a few hours ago. Louis is the one that leans over and wipes the tear away saying “We would never look at you differently. You had to do what you needed to do in order to be safe and look after Chloe.” He looks down at Chloe and smiles. Harry finishes Louis speech. “You did not deserve what ‘Kendal’ did to you. No one deserves that.” Niall is next saying “If the police weren’t there we would have killed him!” This didn’t sound like the kind sweet Niall that you met just two days ago. Zayn piped up making you snap back into reality. “We have become very attached to you and Chloe. We don’t want anything to happen to either one of you.”
The tears just start to flood down your cheeks. It wasn’t until Liam wipes them away that you even realize he hasn’t said a thing since you fell asleep. You rest your head on his chest and look up at him. Forgetting everyone else in the room you move your lips up and kiss him. It was passionate, deep and full of love. You never wanted that kiss to end but it did when you feel the bed move and Chloe stir in your arms. You pull away from Liam and look around to land on Chloe. The boys haven’t left the bed but they weren’t on the bed either, but Chloe wasn’t asleep anymore. She was staring at you and Liam with a smile on her little face.
“What day is it tomorrow?” You ask not really to anyone. “Tomorrow is Tuesday.” Niall says. “I need to get some sleep before I have to go to work tomorrow.” You say to the guys in order to get them to leave. “Hun, management called your work telling them that you won’t be in with everything that has happened today.” Liam told you. “W-why did they do that?” You were so not ready for that. “We called management right after you left and told them what was going on to keep cameras away and everything like that.” Louis answers. You couldn’t say anything; you just didn’t know what to say. You just looked at Harry and he just nods his head and so does Zayn.
“They want to meet with you tomorrow?” Zayn says. “W-Why?” you say while all the guys give him a dirty look. “Nice going Zayn.” Niall says while pushing him off the bed. “We should leave so you can rest.” Harry says and everyone gets up but Liam. You watch them walk to the door and each of them looks at you before they leave. You give a small wave with a nod and a smile.
Once they are gone you look down and see that Chloe has drifted off to sleep again. You take off her shoes and slide her under the blankets. You look at Liam with hopeful eyes. He gives you a small smile and leans down to kiss you. You two kiss for a while until you pull away. “I need to use the restroom before we go to sleep.” Liam helps you get up not sure if you can walk yet. You are a little wobbly but you get to the rest room. You look in the mirror for the first time since this morning and you notice that your makeup is smeared and you have bruises all up and down your arms; you also have one on your left cheek and when you sit down on the toilet you notice that you have bruises up and down your legs as well. You start to cry softly knowing that this is your life. How has my life become this way? Why did I even get into a relationship with Kendal? Why on earth is Liam even here looking after me? Why hasn’t he run away? I know I would have. You thought before you hear a knock on the door. Liam says “Is everything of Kenzie?” You start to answer but you don’t want to lie to him but you also don’t want to tell him the truth. Instead you reply with “I’ll me out in a sec” with a weak voice. You finish up and wash your hands before you open the door. Liam is right outside it and wraps you in his arms. You just let him hold you knowing that he will take care of you if you let him.
He picks you up after a while and lays you down on the bed in front of Chloe. He pulls the blankets back and wraps you in them. You get as close to Chloe as you can without waking her. Liam goes to the other side of the bed and gets in under the blankets and gets as close to Chloe and puts his arm around her so he is touching both of you. You smile at him and he smiles back before you close your eyes and drift off to sleep.
