A Day in the Park

Chapter 9

You wake up to the smell of bacon. I don’t remember what had happened last night. The last thing I remember is that Niall and Harry dropped off my car. Who is in my house? Where is Chloe? You start to panic. You get up and notice that you are wearing a Liam’s shirt that he had on the night before. Did Liam stay over last night? What happened in order for Liam to stay over?  You were panicking even more. You run downstairs to see Chloe helping Liam cook breakfast. “Hi pancakes” Chloe yells. “Hello beautiful.” Liam says walking to you. He stops right in front of you and kisses you passionately. When he finally pulls away you ask “What was that for?” You question. “Because I felt like I needed to.” He responds like it was no big deal. You walk over to where Chloe is. “What are you making babez?” “Eggs. Liam said I could put the cheese in when its time.” She answers with a big smile on her face. You look at Liam and notice that he is staring at the two of you. “What are you staring at mister?” You question with a smirk on your face. “The most beautiful site I have ever seen. Something that I wish I can see for the rest of my life.” He responds with a bigger smile on his face than before. You walk on over to the dining room where Liam is setting the table. You take Liam’s face in your hands and kisses him so rough but passionately that he has to take a step back, because he was not expecting it.

You stayed like that for a while before you hear Chloe yelling. You both look over at her and she is trying to put the cheese in but it is sticking to her hands. “Help pancakes, Liam!” she yells and the two of you walk over to her. You take over for Chloe while Liam does everything else. He wouldn’t let you help with anything else so when you and Chloe got done you took it over to the table and sat down waiting for Liam to get done. Liam finally gets done with everything and makes multiple trips to get everything on the table. He finally sits down. You start to eat in silence. “Even though I am grateful that you are here; what happened last night for you to stay?” You ask Liam. “You don’t remember?” Liam asks. You just shake your head with a sad smile on your face. “You fell asleep on the couch so I carried you up to your room and you asked me to stay here with you last night.” Liam answers. “Did did we do anything?” You ask with a small voice. “No! Nothing happened Kenzie. You were in your work clothes so I just gave you mine to wear, not wanting to go through your draws.” “Oh” is all you could get out. You were feeling releaved. Not that you don’t want something to happen but because it was way too early.

You get done eating and Liam tells you to go take a shower and not worry about the dishes. Well since Chloe didn’t have a bath last night she needs to take a shower with me. She can’t get dressed by herself and she isn’t able to get out of the shower all by herself either. Well shit! This is why I give her a bath. Now I have to ask Liam the one thing that I really don't wish to do right at this moment. You walk back into the kitchen and you just stop. Watching Liam doing the dishes made you wish that he was yours forever. You snap out of your day dream when you feel something on your leg. “Pancakes, Pancakes!” Chloe was yelling at you. You look down and ask “What is it babez?” “I need a bath, pancakes.” “I know we are working on that” you say to Chloe and to Liam you ask “Liam will you help me give Chloe a shower?” He looks up with a surprised look. “Are you sure?” he asks. “Well Chloe can’t get out of the shower and dress herself yet.” You say with embarrassment on your cheeks. “If that is what you want Kenzie; I will help you.” Liam says while finishing up the dishes. You guys walk to the bath room. Liam waits outside while you get in the shower. You yell at him to bring Chloe in. You hear the door open while Chloe is laughing. You peek your head out of the shower and see Liam with his hand over his eyes while trying to undress Chloe to put her in the shower. You start laughing and that’s when Liam looks up. Chloe is ready to be put in the shower with you. Liam walks over to you and hands you Chloe. You have to let go of the curtain in order to grab Chloe. Liam looks away with red cheeks. You look down and notice that the curtain has fallen away. You grab Chloe and close the curtain. “I’m sorry Kenzie.” You hear Liam say over the water. “Why are you apologizing? You did nothing wrong.” “I know but I should have never said I would do this.” Liam keeps talking but at that minute you felt bad about yourself. Did he not like what he saw? I have never been skinny but I loved the way my body was. When I got pregnant my body became a women’s body and you loved that about yourself. I know what I have said about waiting and God, but something like this just makes me want to leave everything and let nothing find me ever again. You snap back when you feel Chloe moving around in your hands.

You finish washing Chloe and set her on the floor, not waiting for Liam to take her out of the bathroom and get her dressed. You lose yourself in the shower thinking about everything that has happened in the past few days. Once done cleaning yourself you just stand under the water forgetting about everything and everyone. Until you hear Liam in the bathroom again. “Kenzie, Kenzie I need a shower before we head for the meeting. Kenzie?” You just stand there not wanting to get out. You turn off the water and grab your towel. You wrap the towel around you while still in the shower. You open the curtain and walk right past Liam without saying a word. Liam stops you by grabbing your wrist. You spin around and snapped. “What is it Liam?” At that moment you wish you hadn’t snapped. The look on his face says that he just wants you right there and then. The only other time you saw that look was that night Shiloh was looking at you. Liam leans down and kisses you passionately. You loved the way his lips were so soft, it was everything different than Kendal. You let go of your towel and put your fingers through his hair. You didn’t realize that your towel had fallen until Liam picked you up and set you on the sink. Liam looks down at your body and doesn’t say a word. He just starts kissing your neck. You just lean your head back so he can have a better angle. You feel his hands starting to roam over your body. That’s when you bounce back into your body. “Liam, I” You get cut off when you feel his hand in your hair. It’s your weak spot. “I-I can’t” You get out. “I know” Is all Liam says but doesn’t stop. “Liam stop please.” You are pleading now. He pulls away and you see it in his eyes. Pure lust. “I wanted to show you that what I meant by not wanting to help you wasn’t because of the way you looked. I love every curve that you have, Kenzie.” He says smoothly. He bends down and picks up your towel and hands it to you. You aren’t able to say anything, you are too surprised. “It’s my turn for a shower.” You just nod your head and get down from the counter with Liam’s help and walk out.

What just happen? Would I have just let that happen? You were thinking while you were getting dressed. You put on your bra and undies while you head to your mirror to do your hair. With your wavy hair you start to curl it so you are able to style it. Liam walks in, in just a towel. “Hello handsome.” You say with a smile on your face. “Hello gorgeous” He responds walking to you and wraps his arms around your waist while you are looking in the mirror.  “We have a few hours before we need to leave” Liam says whispering in your ear with a smile on his lips. That’s when Chloe decides to walk in. “Pancakes” she stops in her tracks; looking at both you and Liam. She smiles, giggles, and runs away. You smile at Liam in the mirror and say “I think that we should get dressed.” Liam turns you around and kisses you with those plump lips on his. “If you say so” he says after pulling away. He grabs his clothes and walks down to the bath room. You get dressed in your favorite outfit that showed off your curves in all the right places.

Liam walks in and just stops. You turn around to find Liam’s mouth agape and wide eyed. You finish putting your shoes on and stand up and walk over to him. “It’s not nice to have your mouth open like that Liam.” You say with a smile on your lips and peck his cheek. You keep on going out the door until Liam grabs your hips and slides you back in. “Where do you think you’re going?” Liam says with a seductive voice. “I was going to get Chloe so we can get to the hotel.” You say smoothly turning around in Liam’s arms. You kiss him slowly so he will loosen his grip on you, and when he does you pull away and walk out of the room. You look behind you and he is just dumb founded; you chuckle while walking out.

You pack everything that you will need for your meeting with management. You head for the car while Liam is buckling Chloe in her car seat. You head to the hotel; it wasn’t a long drive but you were nervous.
