My father just gave Liam permission to marry me right in front of Chloe and the boys. How am I to even think that this is okay? We haven’t even been seeing each other for a week and my father told me it was okay to marry someone that he has only met once. You look around starting with your mother; she has a mixture of shock and elate. The boys were so shocked that they didn’t have any other facial expression other than shock. And Liam well he wasn’t looking at your father anymore; he was looking at you. His facial expression was serene, but if you looked in his eyes you could see pure bliss. You looked away to your father because you couldn’t look at the hope in Liam’s eyes. Your father was content with what he said. You knew what he was thinking. He was never able to give one of his daughters away and you were his last hope, and this man will make it happen.
You looked at your plate not able to look at anyone at all so you started to eat again. Everyone was still silent but they weren’t looking at each other anymore. To break the silence you said “Call management tomorrow first thing and I will be there. I have nothing better to do since they called me off work for a week.” “They did what? You haven’t missed a day of work since the funeral” Your mother says. You look up at her and give her a small nod. “Not even with sickness for you or Chloe?” Louis asked. You looked at him and shake your head. “Wasn’t able to; I had two mouths to feed plus day care.” You look at Chloe and she was done eating. “Do you want to go play?” You ask Chloe, and she nods her head. “It’s a nice night out play in the back yard in front of the doors please. Someone will be out there in a bit.” You tell Chloe and she bounces off outside. You get up to turn on the back lights so you can see her and she can see what she is doing.
You walk back to the table and grab your plate and take it to the sink. “Does anyone want more food?” You ask before turning back around. You were shocked when everyone said no. “Well then I’m going out to play with Chloe.” You tell everyone and head outside. You head over to the swing set that Chloe is playing on and start pushing her. You did this until you wanted to swing as well, so you sat on the swing next to her. She wasn’t talking; all she was doing was swinging. When you decided to not worry you got up as high as you could and leaned back, feet straight and pointed looking at the stars. To you it was comforting to see that the world is still there and no matter where you are, no matter what you are doing, the sky will always be up there.
When you slowed down you noticed there were people at the door. You looked up and noticed that everyone was watching you. You blushed not really sure what they were thinking. You went back to swinging and once again you leaned back once you got up high, but this time you closed your eyes and let the wind hit your face. When you slowed down again you noticed that someone was standing beside you. When you finally stopped you looked at who was next to you and it was your father. You smiled at him and he smiled back. He went behind you and started to push you. Once you were off the ground Chloe asked your father to push her as well. You leaned back again and whispered “I love you daddy.” “I love you too sweet heart.” He tells you and you asked to be pushed higher and he does.
Your hair is flapping in the wind and once you slow down you decided to jump off. Not realizing that Liam had started to walk towards you; you jump and roll into him. You two rolled together until you are at a stop and just laugh at each other. You two lay on the ground wrapped in each other looking at the stars. You didn’t notice that the boys and Chloe came to lay with you guys until you feel something on your back. You turned a little to see who it was and you were surprised at who you saw. Niall was lying right next to you with his hand on your back. It was weird having his hand on your back but it didn’t feel out of place either. You think back at the moment everyone was in the hotel playing with Chloe before your meeting with management. He saw right through me; no one was able to do that not even my own blood. It scared me to know someone can see right through me but it felt good. It was nice to not have to hide everything for once. You turn back around and lean into Liam even more and kiss his lips softly.
After laying there for quite some time, you decided it was time to put Chloe to bed. The boys had fallen asleep. Niall’s hand was wrapped around you in a tight hug. You wiggled your way free, but while doing so, you woke up Liam. You hushed him and pointed to Chloe and then to the house. He nodded and picked Chloe up as soon as he got free of Zayn’s grip. He carried Chloe up to the bedroom and laid her on the bed, and then he started to leave. You didn’t want to sleep without Liam so you pulled Liam back on the bed to sleep with you like you had in the hotel. He lay down and got as close to you and Chloe without waking her up. Liam fell right to sleep but you could not. You stayed awake for an hour before sleep took over.
You dreamt of the future, but there where people there also. You couldn’t quite tell who it was until they turned around.
