Chapiter 3 - Cameron's PoV

(One week and a half ago)

I woke up this morning, and got changed. I packed some of my things and went to the kitchen, upstairs. My mom was waiting for me, with arms crossed. It's never a good thing when I find her acting this way. Lately, thing between us got very tensed.

- So, is it true what Jayden said?
- What did he say?
- You're moving in with him in Stratford? she said, getting furious.
- Well, haven't you notice that our relationship is going to waste since  an month? I don't wanna make it worst, so yes, I'm moving in with Jayden.
- No you're not! she yelled.
- I will, either you want it or not. I'm tired of this relationship we have. I can't stand it anymore. 
- Did you think for a single second of what you're doing? What your "job", as you call it, is? This isn't a damn job! This is becoming a criminal at 17 years old! Have you think about it?

That had continued for several minutes. My dad is working away, in another city, so I'm living alone with my mom. I can't stand these arguments anymore. Neither my brother. As for my job, my mom doesn't accept the fact that I'm working for my cousin, as a hacker. So, I'm going to move somewhere where I'll be accepted, as myself, which is moving in with my brother.

I called my cousin.
"Hey, Luke. Just wanted to tell you that I'm moving."
- Where are you moving? Luke asked.
- In Stratford.
- You're moving here? Cool. You're mom decided to leave London?
- No, I'm moving in with Jayden. We can't stand mom's arguments anymore. She doesn't accept the fact we're working for you, man.
- Oh, I see. Anyway, I have a job for you, so you're lucky.
- What is it?
- Well, my dad died two weeks ago--
- Michael died? Like, my uncle died? I said, shocked.
- Yeah, he died from a disease. Anyway, I'm now the leader of the gang, so you're will be to get into that high school, that I'm going to give you the address soon, hoping that you're close to it and befriend a girl called Abigail Parker.
- Why?
- Before father died, he asked me to keep an eye on her as long as she could be a target, but I have no idea why her.
- Okay, I'll do it.
- Cool. See you soon. I'm happy about it.

(A week ago)
This is my first day at this new school. I remember I have to befriend a girl named Abigail Parker and to keep an eye on. My cousin sent me a picture of her, so I know what she looks like.

As I walk to my locker, I saw Abigail. I came to her locker and talked to her. I think I looked a little weird but I hope she didn't noticed it. I was so nervous since I have to befriend someone for my cousin. She also told me we are in the same classes.

At the end of the day, I went to my cousin house, and told him I met the girl.

- I have great news, my cousin said.
- What are these?
- Hunter called me earlier and told me he found a place that me could hack to get over $2M. But the thing is, we would have to split it with the team that is going to help us out with it, because we cannot do it alone. It would be way to risky. I asked Hunter to deal for a good price with the team.
- Nice.
- How's the girl? he asked.
- She's friendly and kind, but she was rude a first. Hard to have a conversation with.
- Did you managed to have a real conversation with her?
- Yes I did.
- Awesome. I'll call you later.
- See you.

I exited the house. I sent a friend request to Abigail and texted her.

(Now)
I invited Abigail at my house since we're starting to be friends and my cousin and I are happy about it.

I heard a knock on the door but before I could open it, my brother opened it. It was Abigail. He's teasing me as the usual.

After a few minutes of talking, she got a call and told me she had to go. I said goodbye and called my cousin.

- Hey, how are you? my cousin said.
- I'm good. Look, I just invited Abigail at home.
- You did?
- Yes, we talked for a while and now she went back home.
- Nice. Come and meet me at my house.
- Coming.

I went to his house and he talked about the offer he told me earlier.

- Hey, remember the offer I told you? About the $2 000 000?
- Yeah.
- Well, Hunter called me back today. He said that he found someone, but they ask 20% for them, which is $400 000. What do you think?
- Not that bad, isn't it? It isn't $400 000 each, right?
- No, its for all of them and they're 3. They'll gonna be our new team for this offer.
- Cool. When are you hiring them?
- I don't know yet, I thought that.. that you could, you and Jayden help?
- I'm not sure for me, but as for my brother, I'm sure he will accept.
- Nice. I'll call you later?
- Fine. See ya.
