(Still at night)

The man and I started to fight. Every time I'm getting a punch, I can hear Abigail screaming. I hurts to hear her crying and screaming like that. I try my best to knock him out, and win the battle, so then they will let her go.

After a few punches, I got impatient and started to give him bigger punches, even if I remember what he told me. The last punch that I gave him, it made him fall and he doesn't move anymore, or barely move. I looked at him and said, "I told you I would win." I walk to Abigail and untie her and remove the tape covering her mouth as the people are taking a step back. Then, I grabbed Abigail's hand and led her outside and she gave me a disappointed look, "Why didn't you come earlier?" she asked, and I shrugged, "I couldn't come earlier." Hopefully, she didn't ask more.

I woke up this morning, as tired as if I wouldn't have slept the entire night. I got up and changed clothes and head to the kitchen slowly. Jessie is already up, and saw me going in the kitchen half asleep, "Did you sleep well?" she asked, in a concerned voice. I stopped and looked at her, "Not really, apparently" she let out a small laugh.

A few minutes after, Abigail sent me a text message, saying "Today is prom!!!" and I answered back, "Do you go with someone?" and after a few minutes, she answered, "Yeah, Cameron is prom :) I wish you could come with me :(" After she sent that message, a light smile grew on my face as I typed, "I would gladly accompany you :)"

It's the party after prom and Abigail has been texting me the whole time, I wonder how Cameron has reacted to this. That small thought made me grin.

When the whole party and prom thing was over, Abigail called me, "Hey, can you come and pick Cameron and I up? I can barely walk, my feet are so sore from the high heels and we are tired." she asked, as she seemed to be very tired, she talked uncomfortably. "Okay, where are you exactly?" I asked her, and then she told me where she was. "I'm coming." I hung up the call and get prepared to pick her.

When I arrived at her location, she waved at me happily ad she saw me. I parked the car in front of them, and they both got in, Abigail in the front seat and Cameron in the back. "How does it feels to be out of school definitely?" I asked, cheerfully. They both said, almost in unison, "Finally out!" We all laughed to fact fact it was almost in unison and also laughed because school was definitely finished for them.

"See you around, Cam." I spoke as he got out of the car, "Good night Luke" he replied before closing the car's door. I looked at what time is it: 11:08PM. I turned to face Abigail, "Got some time to spend, or are you too exhausted?" I asked her. She nodded, "I'm okay, just starting to be very tired" I started to drive, "Wanna hang out over at my place?" she nodded.

When we arrived at my place, we headed in the living room, Jessie was sleeping. "Wanna watch something?" I questioned her, as she nodded, "Let's watch a movie." We both sat on the couch and started to scroll down through the movies. Once we found an interesting one, I sat comfortably on the couch. I didn't take long before Abigail's eyelids became heavy. I looked over at her, who seemed to be trying to not sleep, "Are you okay? Do you want me to drive you back home or something?" I asked, concerned. She looked at the time on her phone, and shook her head, "No, my parents must be asleep by now, I forgot my key at home and I don't want to wake them up. Can I sleep over, if it's not a problem?" I grinned widely and replied, "N-No, this is not a problem." She laid her head on the back of the sofa, "Good, but where am I going to sleep? Do you have a spare room, or somewhere?" Realizing that I don't have any other rooms, but mine or my sister's room, which Jessie was sleeping in, flustered, I answered, "I-I don't have any spare rooms, so you can have my bed if you want, I'll take the couch." She lifted her head back up and looked at me with wide eyes, "But--" I cut her off and smirked, "Unless we sleep in the same bed?" Her face was bright red, and she looked away.

We went upstairs, and I looked through my wardrobe to grab some clothes and handed her a shirt and some pants, "Are these okay?" she nodded, "I'm going to take a shower, is that okay?" I nodded and she took the clothes. I showed her where the stuff for the shower was, and I told her to use some of Jessie's things if she needs it. Jessie will probably not mind anyway...

I waited for her to exit the bathroom, so then I took a shower too, which after we headed to sleep. After thinking during the time I was away, she decided to sleep in my room.

-At night-

I managed to get her back from those people. I despise those people so much, since that Abigail is precious and cannot be taken away just like that. Instead of driving her home right away, I decided to do a car ride. "Where are we going?" she asked. "I don't know, just doing a car ride around here."

After about one hour of driving, Abigail and I came back to her house, and her parents greeted us worriedly, "D-don't tell me she was taken away again." Her mom said, as she burst into tears. Abigail ran to her mom and hugged her tightly. When her mom looked back at me, with her eyes filled with tears, she spoke, concerned, "Dear boy, you are seriously injured. What happened?" then, she looked at Abigail closely, "You are too. Care to explain what happened to both of you?" I nodded, and told her to take a seat, "Abigail has been captured once again, by the same people as last time, Mrs. Parker." I started, but as I was about to continue my sentence, Abigail's mom cut me off, "What is wrong with those people? What makes them want to capture her that much?" I shrugged, "I'm afraid, I can't answer you on this." I replied, as I saw, from the corner of my eye, Abigail glancing at me, since I already told her why. I just couldn't tell the same thing to her mother.

As I was about to leave, Abigail grabbed my wrist, which made me turn around, "Wait, don't leave." she told me, looking a bit scared, "Don't leave me." she almost whispered. I completely turned around and she hugged me tightly. I hugged her back. She continued, "I'm scared that if you leave me, I won't see you again." she confessed, as I gazed at her, and saw her eyes started to be teary. "Why would it happen?" I told her softly, and she sobbed, "I don't know, I just have that feeling." and then she continued, looking at me in my eyes, "Can you stay over tonight?" I nodded and asked, "Is it okay with your parents?" she let go of me, as I also do and she called out for her mom, "Mom! Can Lucas stay over tonight?" she asked and I heard her mother saying "yes". She looked back me, and wiped out her tears, "Sorry, I don't know what's going on all of a sudden, I--" I cut her off and came up with, "It's okay, you don't need to worry." I put a strand of her hair behind her ear and then when our gaze locked, I leaned in and kissed her softly on her lips. She didn't hesitate, and kissed me back. Her mom then arrived, and she stopped in her tracks, as we pulled off the kiss. I looked at her mother, which she was just standing there, speechless. Abigail turned around and when she saw her mother, she turned apple red, "H-hey mom." Her mother simply added, while smiling, "I just came by to wish you a good night, I'm going to sleep, it's already late, isn't it? See you tomorrow." She hugged Abigail.
