"There's going to be lots of booze." Jackson laughed, clutching the steering wheel of the moving car.
"Great, have you got the music sorted?" Jinyoung asked, seated in the backseat.
"You know it." Jackson reassured, pulling up to his house.
"How long until it starts?" I asked, unusually nervous.
"Another 2 hours. Why don't you go home and get ready?" Jackson said, stopping the car. Jinyoung had gotten out of the car by now and started walking towards Jackson's door.
"Sure, I'll see you later." I smiled, giving him a quick kiss before rushing to my front door.
"Bye!" Jackson called, watching me walk inside.

I'm so nervous.

Don't ask my why. I've been to heaps of his parties before, but never when it was this close to breaking up with him.

"Mark, we need to talk." My father spoke, coming from the couch in the lounge room.

I'm supposed to be getting ready.

"Yeah, later." I grumbled, rushing to the stairs.
"Mark Tuan you better get your sorry as-"
"Okay, alright, I'm coming."
"Good, now sit." He instructed me, pointing to the chair in front of him.

Oh, God, if you're out there, help me.

"What's this about?"
"Well, two things." He started, shifting in his seat. "Firstly, are you sure you want to stay for another 6 months? If you do, I'll have to tell the school here and the school back in America. You cannot change your mind. If you have any doubts about staying, I want you to go back."
"I've already told you, I want to stay. I love it here. I love my life here. I don't want to go back to America." I smiled, even though each word was a lie.
"What about Hyungwon? And Minhyuk? Shownu, Won-?"
"I've told them, they're cool with it."
"That's not what your mother said. She told me Minhyuk talked to her the other day, they're worried about you. Apparently you blocked them?"

What.  A. snake. I'm going to kill Minhyuk.

"No, no, I didn't block them. I just keep my phone on silent, that's all. I've been studying a lot too, so I don't have time to catch up with anyone."
"So that's why you don't talk to Jimin, or Hoseok or any of those boys anymore?"
"I still talk to them! Just rarely." I laughed, trying to lighten the mood.
"You know, you can tell me if something is going on Mark. I'm here for you."

I was close.
I was close to spilling out everything on my mind.
How I've pushed away MONSTA X, BTS and Amber.
I've fallen for Jackson Wang, even though our relationship is fake and will end in less than two weeks.
I honestly wish I was dead.

I've made such a huge mess of things. I should have just stayed in America. I should have just left Jackson alone. I should have just stayed friends with BTS.

"I know, I'm fine. Thank you, though. I appreciate it."
"Okay, so you want to stay?" He asked, looking me dead in the eyes.
"Yes." I nodded, watching as his eyes lit up.
"Great! That makes me very happy! I won't be alone!" Dad cheered, jumping up from his seat.
"Yes, yes. Good for you." I chuckled, watching as he skipped around.
"Also, second thing." He stopped suddenly, sitting down again.
"Okay, shoot."
"Now, you and I both know it's your 6 month anniversary with Jackson soon..." Dad trailed on, his hands laced together.
"And?"
"And I just think you should kno- I mean- kids your age are curious and..."

Oh my God.

"usually get up to some... 'certain stuff'..."

You're kidding.

"Dad-"
"Just know that if you ever need any protecti-"
"Dad!"
"I can get them for you if you're too embarrassed, I just don't want you to get any STD-"
"Oh my g- Dad seriously!" I groaned, covering my red face.
"Make sure he doesn't pressure you into anything-"
"Stop." I croaked.
