Jade's POV

It felt like time had frozen, everyone around us went silent. Nobody made a sound. All eyes were on me and the girl on one knee.

I glanced up at Lauren who shook her head and mouthed the word 'no' to me. I looked to the rest of 5H and they smiled and nodded their heads. I looked to Lauren who seemed to be getting anxious.

"Well..." She began.

"I'm still young...My career hasn't even started yet, we haven't even dated long."

"I know but I love you. This love is real. This love only comes once in a lifetime. I want to marry you. I want to make you Mrs Jade Jauregui."

"Well you can't."

Lauren stepped forward and stood in front of me.

"You're a liar. You're a cheater. She deserves better than you."

My girlfriend stood up and pushed Lauren as hard as she could. I wrapped my arms around her waist before she could fall.

"You need to back off Cimorelli. You had your chance with her and you blew it. You threw away such an amazing girl. I picked her up and now we're together...Hopefully...Getting married..." She smiled at me.

I gently released Lauren Cim and walked over to my girlfriend.

"Don't you think we're rushing our relationship?"

"We're not getting married tonight! We can be engaged for however long you want..Until you're ready for such a huge commitment."

I looked around and everyone was looking at me, waiting for an answer. People were getting impatient. People were getting ready to turn into The Joker with how big their smiles were.

"Get down." I say and she gives me a confused look. "Back on one knee, ask me again."

Lauren flashed me a quick smile before she got back down on one knee and I quickly handed her the box with the ring in.

"Jade, since the moment we met, I knew there was a spark...I knew I liked you the moment we started talking and as soon as we shared our first kiss I fell in love with you. I've never fallen in love so easily but with you...It must have been fate. I know you've been hurt in the past." She glared at Lauren Cimorelli. "But I'm never going to hurt you. I will only fix you and make you happy. I wanna be the one you want and need forever. Will you marry me?"

I smiled and nodded my head. "Yes."

She smiled and stood up, quickly taking the ring out of the box and slipping it on my finger then embracing me in a slow, passionate kiss.

"I love you so much Jade."

"I love you too."

Everyone clapped and cheered this was the best moment of my life.

"You just ruined your own life. She won't treat you right. She's only going to hurt you. Don't come crying to me when she does." Lauren Cim said before storming off.

I felt bad for her, but this could have been us if she had just tried to work out our relationship...But she didn't. She threw that away. Not me.

"What did I miss?"

I chuckled to myself as I turned around and shook my head. "I just got engaged Ellie."
