Chapter 6
PETER'S POV
"Hey Peter." My mom smiled as I walked in the door. I waved and walked up the stairs. My mom reached out and grabbed my hand, pulling me back down.
"What?"
"Come here." She said, dragging me to the couch. I sighed and sat down, setting my bag at my feet.
"What?" I repeated.
"What happened at the party?" I groaned.
"Nothing!"
"Peter, you went to sleep really early!"
"I was just tired." I shrugged.
"Bullshit!" She screached, placing her hands on her hips. "Are you sure it wasn't about that boy I saw Brooklynne with?" I paused for a second, looking down at my feet.
"It's not about Brooklynne." I said quietly.
"Pet-"
"JUST SHUT UP!" I screamed.
"Excuse me?"
"You fucking heard me! Shut up!" I exclaimed, looking into her eyes. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT ANYWAY!" I screamed, still staring at her. Her jaw dropped and I stood up, grabbing my bag. "IT'S YOUR FUCKING FAULT THAT ALL THREE OF US GET BULLIED BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUISNESS AND KEEP YOUR FUCKING MOUTH SHUT! YOU JUST MAKE EVERYTHING WORSE! GOD, I HATE YOU!" I screamed before running upstairs.
I dumped everything out of my backpack and started packing a few shirts and jeans, along with some other needs. I opened up my window and threw my bag down, jumping down after it. I grabbed it and threw it over the fence before jumping over the fence and running. I ran and ran until I came to a city bus stop, sitting on the bench and waiting. I sat there, trying to catch my breath, throwing my head back. Finally, I heard the sound of the bus pulling up and I walked up to the bus driver, telling him where I wanted to go. I gave him the money and took my seat, preparing for a long bus ride.

"Hey kid, we're here." I thanked him and got off, trying to remember my sister's room number. I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door, hoping it was the right one.
"Peter?" Jessica asked as she opened the door.
"Hey, is Ariel here."
"Yeah, Ariel." I saw my sister walk up to the door, her eyebrow raised.
"Peter, what are you doing here? Is anybody else with you?" I shook my head. "How'd you get here."
"Bus." I shrugged.
"Does mom know you're here?" I nodded. "Alright, come in." She said, stepping aside.
TORI'S POV
"Tori, were you up all night?" Austin asked, walking out to the living room. I nodded, my eyes bloodshot and wide.
"He never came home." I said, my voice emotionless.
"I'm sure he's fine T-"
"MY BABY DIDN'T COME HOME ALL NIGHT AUSTIN!" I sobbed. "WHAT IF HE'S HURT! OR WORSE!" Austin sat down next to me and pulled me close to his body, rubbing my back.
"I'm sure he's fine Tori." He repeated.
"I have to go find him." I said, running to find the keys.
"Victoria, you haven't slept all night, I don't want you driving on no sleep."
"He's my baby boy Austin, I have to go find him."
"Give me the keys, I'll go find him and you stay here." He said, holding out his hand.
"No, I caused this, I have to fix it." I said, opening the door.
"Victoria Hope Carlile, no, I'm not letting you go out."
"Fuck you Austin, I can do what I want! I need to find my baby." I said, running out the door. I jumped in the car and turned it on, pulling out of the driveway and speeding down the street before Austin could stop me. I decided to look around the neighborhood first, then going to his school and around town a bit. He just has to be somewhere. I just know it.
I came to a stoplight and stopped, driving again when it turned green, All of a sudden, everything went black.
PETER'S POV
"Hello?" Ariel said into the phone. "Oh hi dad, yeah Peter's with me. O-Oh my God. Of course, we'll be right there." She said and hung up.
"Peter, mom's in the hospital."
