Chapter 25

TORI'S POV

*One Week Later*

"Hi!" Jessica exclaimed as she opened her door.

"Hey, can I come in to talk to you and Alex?"

"Sure, where's Austin?"

"I thought it would be best if we didn't have Alex and Austin together for this conversation. Plus, we don't want to leave Peter alone in case he needs something."

"Makes sense, come on in. I'll get Alex. SIt on the couch, make yourself comfortable." She said as she let me in and went up the stairs. I walked to their living room and sat down, waiting for Jessica and Alex to came down. They came down a minute later and sat on the other couch.

"So, what's up Tori?" Jessica asked.

"It's actually about Peter and Brooke."

"No, are we done here?" Alex said, standing up.

"Alex, sit down and listen." She said, pulling him back onto the couch. "What about them."

"I talked to Peter about it, and I trust them. I mean, if you think about it, he just had heart surgery. Sex isn't going to be the first thing on his mind when he's supposed to be resting."

"There are ways he doesn't have to do anything." Alex said.

"But it still gets his heart racing, which does not need to happen. Plus, either Austin and I are always in the house, you think they would do something with us in earshot?"

"The door is closed." Alex said.

"Well, I trust Peter and Brooke not to do anything. Their good kids. If it makes you feel better, once Peter is better, his door is going to remain open when Brooke comes over. That's always been our rule and that's how it stays."

"The door is still closed."

"Look, the reaosn I came over today is I want to negotiate. If you will allow Brooke to come over three days out of the week for the next three weeks, we will keep them downstairs on the couch."

"I think it sounds like a great idea." Jessica said. "Alex, you want to make your daughter happy? She's miserable right now, ths will make her happy."

"Fine." Alex said.

"Awesome, thank you so much." I said.

PETER'S POV

*The Next Day*

"Come on." My dad said, picking me up and carrying me down the stairs.

"Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see." He said as he turned to go to the living room. I looked to see Brooke on the couch and gasped, a smile on my face. My dad put me down and I hugged Brooke tightly.

"Oh my god, I missed you so much." I said as he hugged me back.

"I missed you too Peter. I love you."

"I love you too." I said, quickly kisisng her lips.

"I made a deal with Brooke's parents." My mom said. "She can come over three days a week as long as you guys are on the couch."

"How long is this going to go on?"

"Until you're better and on your feet. I think Alex will relax a bit after that."

"Thank you so much mom." I said, opening my arms for a hug. My mom walked over to me and hugged me back.

"You're welcome." She said. "Okay, I'll leave you guys alone now." She said, going to the stairs.
