Chapter 16
PETER'S POV
The next day, I was released from the hospital. My dad carried me to the car since the doctor didn't want me walking too much. He layed me in the backseat and climbed into the front seat with my mom, pulling out of the parking space.
When we got home, my dad got me out of the car and carried me up the stairs, laying me down in my bed. As my dad left, my mom came rushing in.
"Are you hungry?"
"Yeah."
"I'll go make you some breakfast, what do you want?"
"Pancakes?" She nodded and rushed out of my room. I stripped down to my boxers and loooked around for my phone, not finding it.
"Shit." I mumbled. "DAD!" I screamed.
"Yeah?" He asked, walking in.
"Where's my phone?"
"It's downstairs, I'll be right back." He said, leaving my room. He came back a minute later and handed it to me. I unlocked it to see I had a text.
Brookie <3~ r u home yet?
Peter~ Yes I'm home. Pay attention in class!
B~ I'm in math and finished my test. You know how she let's us be on our phones.
P~ Oh yeah
B~ Can I come c u after school?
P~ Make sure ur homework is done first
B~ Yes sir :p XD <3 u
P~ Love u too, I'm going to eat then try to sleep. See ya later.
B~ See ya <3
I put my phone down and my mom brought in my food. I thanked her, ate, then went to sleep.

I heard a knock at my door.
"Who is it?"
"Brooke."
"Come in." She walked in with a smile, closing the door behind her. She crawled on the bed with me and kissed my lips, tightly hugging me.
"I love you so much. I'm glad you're home and okay."
"Me too Brooke, I love you too." I said, running my fingers through her hair. "You're beautiful, you know that?"
"Well you're handsome." She smirked, kissing my nose. We layed there, talking, for what seemed like hours. She ended up falling asleep in my arms. I woke up to see a note on my pillow.
Went home. See you tomorrow, love you <3

I smiled and turned over, going back to sleep.
