Chapter 16 [edited]

I watched from outside our window as the plane landed gracefully. I’ve never been to England before, but let me tell you something: it’s pretty damn beautiful. Well, other than the rain and stuff.
“Please remain seated with your seat belts fastened until we make a complete stop,” the kind flight attendant ordered when people began moving around in impatience. Of course, my mom and I stayed perfectly seated since this was all normal to us. I cannot count the amount of times I’ve been on a plane before.
Finally, we were able to get off and grab our luggages. The process luckily didn't take long and we were out on the streets before we knew it.
“Where to?” I asked my mother who was busy scanning the GPS on her phone.
“I think we can just check into a random hotel and then ask around, maybe look on their twitter pages,” she suggested. I nodded my head and flagged down a taxi. For a moment, I forgot that they had twitter pages dedicated to the boys. For a moment, I forgot that they were famous. They almost seem too normal to be famous, to be honest.

“Suite number 3, miss. Take the elevator to your right and you’re located on the top floor. Enjoy your stay,” the creepy man at the desk smiled to my mom while checking her out. Ew. She grimaced at him and pulled me along to the elevator while shaking with jitters. I wouldn't blame her.
“The only time I wish your father was with me is right now. Never thought I would say that,” she muttered while slapping the button to our floor. The elevator quickly went up and I smiled at my mom. Even though my father was an evil man, she was far from it.
“Why are you still with him, then? If you don't like being with him?” I couldn't help but ask.
“For you and Kennedy. Not to mention, it would be a scandal.”
“You’re kidding right? Mom, Kennedy and I know how awful he is. And I really don't care if it causes a scandal. If it helps you, then do it. Please.”
“Hush, honey. It doesn't matter. We’re here to focus on your love, not mine. Maybe when we get back we can focus on yours.”
I nodded my head and walked towards our suite. I know that anyone else would think that this suite was super cool and big, but honestly, I was kind of use to this. I don't mean to sound conceited, but it’s true. Being a ski racer has its perks.

“This page says that they’ve been sited at a Starbucks in London,” my mom muttered while taking a picture of the tweet with her phone. I nodded my head and smiled. That honestly doesn't surprise me; those boys are like typical white girls in disguise.
“This one says the same thing. Posted an hour ago. It also says that they’re recording some new music, but they don't know who they’re recording with,” I told my mom. “I feel like such a stalker,” I muttered while typing the Starbucks address into google. Then, I looked up any recoding studios near by.
“Okay, I found two recording studios near by. Should we try those out?” I asked my mom while typing the addresses into my notes. She nodded her head and grabbed her purse.
“Let’s go.”

The first studio that we went to was deserted. Apparently it had closed down a couple weeks prior and google hadn't updated it. That left one option, and hopefully that option was the right one.
