Chapter 17 [edited]

March 9th, 2014

Many of the girls sighed in disappointment at the fact that their idols just ran away. Before anyone could do anything else, the door opened once again.

This time, everyone came out.

Screams rose even louder than before as Luke, Michael, and Calum pointed at me in the crowed. A look of disbelief was on Ashton’s face and I felt the tears stream down my face. Then, he ran to the gate and opened it. Before he could get mobbed, he grabbed my wrist and dragged me in after him.

Ashton’s hand stoked over my face before he smiled so widely and crushed me into him. My arms instinctively wrapped themselves around him and we held each other tight. My tears leaked onto his shirt as he hoisted my legs around his waist so he would have to crouch no longer.

“Fuck, Sophia, fuck,” he whispered into my hair while gripping my back tightly. “Is this even real?” he continued to mutter incoherent things. I laughed at him.

“Yes, Ashton, it is.”

Ashton pulled away much to my protest but it was quickly washed away with his lips on mine. Our lips moved together with so much passion and fire that I didn't even notice the girls going crazy from outside the gate. Before it could get too heated, however, the boys intervened.

“Before you have sex in front of the fans and Sophia’s mom, I’d suggest you give us hugs,” Michael joked. I felt myself blushing deeply before jumping off Ashton’s waist and giving the three boys quick hugs.

“Let’s go get your mom and go in,” Ashton suggested while grabbing my hand to pull me along. I quickly pulled it away and a look of hurt flashed on his face.

“No way. Those girl helped me so much and love you guys. Go and meet them. Bring security or something, I don't care, but you’re meeting them or I’m leaving right now.” I crossed my arms over my chest while giving the four of them challenging glares. Their faces surprisingly lit up at the thought of meeting fans and Luke quickly rushed in to grab a few security guards. There were about 75 girls out there, and you never know what could happen.

The gates opened and the security guard beckoned the girls to form a straight line for the guys to hug, sign something, and take a picture with. Luckily, the girls were cooperative and stood patiently until the very end. Then we all sat around (with me in Ashton’s lap of course and my mom awkwardly seated behind us) and chatted.

I’m glad these fans (or from what I’ve heard, they call each other family, which is quite cute) aren’t psychotic.

“Alright, alright. These boys really have to get back to recording if you guys want another album, right? Sorry to cut this little chit chat short, but we’ve really got to get going,” A man suddenly spoke from the building. The girls nodded their heads in understanding and packed their bags before giving the guys hugs and walking back to their cars/homes/busses. Then, there was only Ashton, myself, my mom, Luke, Michael, Calum, the guy, and this girl who rolled her eyes at me on the front lawn.

“You too, blondie,” he waved his hands at me.

“No way. I just got Sophia back; theres no way I’m leaving her,” Ashton angrily said while wrapping an arm around me.

“My apologies. Sophia, and I presume this is your mother, may come in. But this is the only time, got it,” he sternly said while looked each of the boys in the eyes, daring them to tell him otherwise. They nodded their heads before leading us inside.

We walked down many hallways until we reached the inside of an office. It’s decor was simple, apart from the large sound board thingy and a couch and table and chairs scattered across the room. Song sheets were placed among the table and the chairs weren't in the right place; one was even knocked over.
