Enzo POV
"I can't believe my sister is actually marrying the son of a bitch that caused my best friend so much pain." Benji said to me as he took a hit of the cigar in his hand.
We were sitting outside of the hotel waiting for all the girls to finish getting ready so the wedding could actually start.
"You can't help who you fall in love with." I answered.
He grimaced, "That's exactly what Karina said."
I laughed, "Karina's an intelligent woman, and she loves Biannca. She just wants her to be happy." I said.
"Intelligent my ass." He scoffed making me chuckle.
"So How did Rina really take the news of Biannca and Luis getting together?" I asked.
He sighed, "She... was hurt, angry, and maybe even a little sad. She didn't show it until after you guys found out that Karley wasn't actually her daughter. Once Charlotte and Dana left her house she cried to me, all night." He told me.
"Damn." I said.
"Yeah, but the funniest thing happened though. The first time you guys met Biannca and Luis, I had to tell her they were coming that day. She was pissed that they were coming and was talking about how much she used to love him and how he broke her heart, and then Cass called her. The second she saw his name on her caller ID she completely forgot about Luis. Before that I would have to listen to her going on and on and on and on about him and no one could make her forget about him. I was like 'woah.'" He said.
I chuckled, "Yeah, she really loves Cass. I'm happy for them." I said.
He nodded, "Yeah, I've never seen her so happy. But hey, don't worry about the whole, 'I think I love Karina' thing. I went through that too. Only, she laughed in my face when I tried to tell her." He said.
I laughed, "Are you serious?!" I asked.
"As a heart attack dawg." He said laughing too. "She was not having it."
I continued to laugh, "I'm glad I'm not alone then."
"Yeah." He said before taking another hit of his cigar. "But I'm really happy she found Cass and you for that matter. Now I don't have to worry about her all the time."
"Worry about her?" I asked.
"Yeah. I always had to worry about her because I never wanted her to slip back into the state she was in when Luis left her." He said.
I gave him a questioning look.
"She fell into one of the deepest depressions I've ever seen someone go through. She didn't leave her house for shit, I had to force her to eat and drink, hell.. No one else knows this but she almost overdosed on sleeping pills because she didn't want to feel the pain anymore. I found her passed out on the floor of her bathroom with a whole bunch of the pills scattered across the floor." He said before taking another hit of his cigar then continuing, "I had to force her to puke all of it back up while she was passed out. But I didn't know how long it had been, if I had found her too late... I've never been so scared for someone in my life. I figured if I was too late, at least I was there with her and she wasn't alone. I sat on the floor with her head in my lap for almost 3 hours. In my head, I prepared for the worst but she woke up. She was pissed at me for not leaving her there to die. Luis did that to her. He made her feel so bad that she would rather have died than have to wake up to the pain he caused her. And I wasn't there to help prevent him from doing that. Now my sister's marrying that same guy and she's happy with him. Karina's okay with it but I'm not. Not after everything she had to go through because of him." He finished shaking his head.
