Ch. 24

christina gasped and woke up touching her heart

"babe, you okay?" matt asked

she breathed heavily and was shaking all over "y- yeah just a bad dream" she said

"you're shaking christina, come here" he hugged her and kissed her cheek

"you alright?" he asked and kissed her forehead

"i'm fine" she lied

"was the dream about me... hurting you?" he asked and looked down

"n-no it was just-" he cut her off

"i know it was..." he sighed

"i'm sorry" she said quietly and rubbed her arm

"you dont have to be sorry" he said and carressed her cheek softly

she smiled a little and he kissed her forehead

"does your arm still hurt?" he asked and touched it softly

"a little" she said

he sighed and looked at her sadly "i'm sorry" he apologized again

"it's okay, i'm fine" she said

"you know i love you?" he said and smiled at her

"i know" she smiled back "i love you too" she said sweetly

he kissed her lips softly and she returned the kiss, they got up to get ready to go to The Voice studio because christina had to coach her team like the rest of the coaches

it was 9:00 am and they got to the studio

"baby please dont start anything with adam today" she looked at him

"i wont" he said and helped her out of the car and took her hand

they walked inside the building and sat next to Blake, Ceelo and adam

they all greeted each other and talked for a few minutes "i'll be right back" christina said to matt

"okay, dont be too long, i miss you already" he said and kissed her lips softly

she smiled and kissed him back, she got up and went to her trailer to put her stuff away, adam got up and went to his trailer too

matt waited for christina and she finally got out of her trailer and walked to him, "come on, they're here" she said to matt and he got up and followed her to her studio

he sat on the big couch while christina sat in her chair next to the piano and watched the 2 contestants sing together

matt was watching christina and how amazing her voice is, he felt so lucky to have her

"how about you go with the... 'On the other side" she sang to them

he smiled at her perfect voice and the contestants were finished about an hour later

matt got up and walked to christina "i can never believe that's your real voice... you're so amazing" he said and hugged her

she giggled "thank you" and hugged him back

a few more people came and she coached them all and taught them how to sing the song lyrics, a few hours passed and christinas team was all set

"babe i'm done" she said getting her stuff and walking to him, he stood up and took her hand and led her outside to the car

her driver drove them to a resturaunt because they were both hungry and it had been a long day

at the resturaunt...
