Ch. 32

continuing from the last chapter...

"babe, i'm gonna go get us something to drink, i'll be right back" matt said as he gave her a small kiss on the cheek

she flashed him a warm smile as he got up "alright" she said after he kissed her

after matt left, adam stood up and did what he was planning to do for the past few days, he had to tell her how much he loved her, even if she didn't love him back, he needed to let her know again...

adam approached christina and sat down next to her on the couch "chris, i'm sorry... i- i can't hold this in any longer, i know i've told you about a million times but i love you, please christina, i need you" he said as he saw her surprised by his words "just give me a chance christina, i had you once, and then i lost you... and it's all his fault" he said referring to matt "he took you away from me, just when i thought i actually had a chance with you, he came and ruined it..." adam said in a loud tone

"adam-" she was about to speak but he cut her off

"no christina, don't say that you don't love me, i know you don't feel the same way but... but i'm just asking for a chance to possibly make you fall in love with me, i did it once and then matthew came along and ruined it, he ruined everything"

"he didn't ruin anything, stop saying that, he's my boyfriend for god's sake.. you can't just talk about him like that in front of me" she said getting a little angry and annoyed

"christina, he abuses you! i don't understand why you're with him, you of all people should know that being in an abusive relationship leads to nowhere, don't you remember what you went through as a child? you came to me crying one day because you said that matthew slapped you!" he said loudly but she stopped him

the other coaches, camera crew and producers were watching them fight

"don't bring my past into this!" she said getting more annoyed "and he does not abuse me-" he cut her off this time

"oh bullshit christina!" he yelled and stood up "he does hit you! you can't lie to anyone here! see that bruise on your arm?!" he lifted up her sleeved and pointed to it, she stood up and pulled her sleeve down quickly as tears were forming in her eyes remembering the abuse she went through as a child and with matt

"t-that was an accident" she said quietly as her voice cracked, showing the sadness

"no it wasn't an accident, and you know that" he said as a small sigh left his mouth "listen" he lifted her chin gently "you don't deserve this at all, please leave him-" she cut him off

"he doesn't hit me anymore, i swear" she said and looked into his eyes

"then where the hell did that bruise come from? and those cuts on your elbow?!" he said as his voice got louder "don't you remember what he did to you?! he even killed your baby for god's sake!" he said louder and everyone gasped with their hands on their mouths

"adam... stop" she said quietly as a tear rolled down her cheek and she looked at the ground, she looked around the room and saw everyone had hear their fight, she sighed and turned back to adam as more tears fell from her eyes

he sighed and tried to wipe her tears away but she pushed him away from her

"chris-" he started to speak but she stopped him and said "great, now everyone knows.. they're gonna treat him like shit because of this! you were suppose to keep that a secret" she said a bit pissed "he was really drunk, he was doing alot of drugs when that happened, adam.. i told you he went to rehab, i told you he stopped what he was doing!" she yelled "why can't you just stay out of my life?! did you even think about what everyone's gonna say to matthew? do you now the horrible things they're gonna call him?! it was a huge mistake he made, i'll never forgive him for it but i still love him adam... you can't change that, just please... stay out of my life" she said as her voice got lower and she walked to her trailer

did their friendship just end? just like that... everything they had was gone
