Ch. 28

christina and matt we're at the park and then out of no where, adam shows up...

"hey, christina" he said with a weak smile

"h-hey" she looked over to adam and then quickly at matthew who was annoyed already

"how've you been?" he asked sweetly

"good, you?" she asked with a smile

"good..." he put his hands in his pockets

there was an awkward silence for a few seconds and christina broke it "i- um, i should go, we have to pick up max from my moms house" she said softly

they said their goodbyes and christina and matt walked to the car "he annoys me, alot" matt said

"what'd he do now?" christina asked as she got in the car with matt

"the way he was looking at you, i dont know, he just annoys me" matt said as he started the car

"whatever" she sighed softly and put her seatbelt on, she turned on the radio and 'Love Somebody' came on by Maroon 5, 'oh great' christina though to herself

matthew changed the station to a different one so he wouldn't have to hear adams voice "what are you doing?" christina asked getting annoyed with matt

"i hate his voice" matt said annoyed

"oh my god, matthew it's just a song, leave it" she said as she changed it back

"christina... his voice is so annoying, just change it" matt said getting mad

"no, his voice isn't annoying, you just dont like him, leave it" she said pissed at matthews actions

"no... i HATE him" he said loudly "can you please just change the fucking song?!" he yelled at her

"No, now you're yelling at me so you're going to listen to the fucking song" she said and looked at him angrily

"oh my god, you're so stubborn!" he yelled again

"well you're gonna have to deal with it!" she yelled back at him "the song's over anyways so just shut up now" she sighed loudly and looked out her window angrily

"whatever, lets just go get max" he said as he stopped in front of shellys house, there was a bunch if paparazzi surrounding the car and christina could barely open the door

"wait for me, i'll open the door for you" matt said still a little nad over the fight

"i dont need your help" she said coldly and took her seatbelt off

"christina, just wait for me okay?!" he yelled and looked at her

"why should i?" she asked and was about to open the door but he pulled her back

"do you want to get hurt by them?" he asked pointing to the people surrounding the car, but this time his voice was a little softer

she rolled her eyes "why do you care?" she asked with a quiet voice

"because i love you, and i'm not letting you get hurt" he said softly and touched her arm

"you're the one who's always hurting me matthew" she mummbled as he opened his door

"what?" he asked and got out the car

"nothing" she sighed and waited for him to open the door, he walked to her side and opened the door for her and offered his hand to her but she refused to take it, he sighed and followed her to shellys house as the paprazzi asked a bunch of questions and crowded them

christina knocked on the door and her mother opened it "hey baby!" shelly said and gave christina a hug

"hi" she said with a small smile and hugged her back

"mommy!" max ran to christina and jumped in her arms, she picked him up and kissed his cheek and hugged him tight "i missed you so much" christina said sweetly

"i missed you too mama" max giggled and hugged christina

"hey matty" max said sweetly and smiled at matthew

"hey buddy" matt smiled and ruffled maxs hair gently

"mommy, why aren't you and matty holding hands? you always hold hands when you get me" max said cutely

christina smiled and moved his hair out of his face "i dont know baby" she kissed his cheek softly and thanked her mom, matt got maxs bag put a hand on christinas back as they walked to the car through all the paparazzi, they all got in and matt drove them home

at home...

matt pulled into the driveway and saw that christina had fallen asleep, he smiled at the sight of her, he got out the car and opened the door for max, the nanny came out and got max's things and went upstairs to unpack with max

matt picked christina up and carried her inside the house, she woke up slowly when he closed the door and looked up at matthew

"hey sleepyhead" he smiled softly and held her tight

"are we home?" she asked and closed her eyes again, she laid her head on his shoulder as he carried her upstairs

"yeah, you fell asleep in the car" he said sweetly and sat down on the bed with her in his arms

she wrapped her arms around him gently and closed her eyes as she laid her head in his chest, he kissed her cheek and hugged her tight

"i'm sorry for what happened today" he said referring to the fight they had

"it's okay, i'm over it" she said quietly

"i love you" he said sweetly "i love you too" he smiled softly and he gave her a kiss on the lips and she kissed him back

he laid her down on the bed and let her sleep as he went downstairs and watched a movie with max
