Chapter 9: Breakfast

*Crystal's POV*

I woke up to a loud snore and sat up confused. 'What in the world?'

I looked ahead of me in my chair and sure enough Maui was fast asleep.
I stood and tip toed to him, trying not to wake him. I couldn't help but giggle.

'Awwwww, he's so cute!'

As I lovingly stared at him, I think about last night. He's so caring and gentl, and, for the first time, someone who makes me feel like I'm worth something.

Don't get me wrong! Moana and her family are there for me and all, but not in this way. They treat me like family, but he....treats me like I have a chance.

A chance to become someone's love one day, the way he explained his views of me gave me butterflies. The way he opened up to me, made me feel like he trusted me.

'How can anyone throw away such a precious person? Shame on his parents souls!'

I crept closer to him and gave him a peck on the cheek, then went to make breakfast.

I was in good a good mood so I decided to make a big breakfast. I didn't want to make something and Maui don't like it.

I went back to him and poked him on his arm.....nothing. I poked his chest....still nothing. Then I poked his cheek and he swatted his hand to get me away. Then I decided to do something that would most definitely get his attention.

I put my lips on his cheek and blew him a raspberry!

"What the- what? Huh? Why did you do thaaaaaaat!!!!" He was now whining like a tired baby.

"Awwww *giggle*, I'm sorry Maui, but you wouldn't wake up."

He gave a tired glared, "That was the point, leave me alone."

I sighed, he's a brat when he's tired. "Would you like pancakes, eggs, and sausages?"

"......huh? What's that?"

My heart dropped. 'He never had cooked breakfast?'

"Don't worry, I'll make it you'll love it! And sleep in my bed, you mess up your neck." Before he could say anything, I went to make a big breakfast for him.

*1 hour later*

There was buttermilk pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, and cups of juice and smoothie. Let's just say I made it big!

Maui's POV*

I woke up to the smell of something delicious. I got up out of the bed and sleepily walked to the kitchen.

On the tables was all the food and my stomach was yearning for it. "You made all of this Cryst?"

She turned to me smiling, "Yes, dig in. I hope you like it. Also, that stuff in three purple jar is syrup. You pour that on you pancakes, which are those circle things."

She went back to cleaning up her mess and I digged into the food. 'OH MY GODS! THIS FOOD IS THE BEST I EVER TASTED!'

Crystal finally finished and joined me, but I was already done. "That food was nothing I had ever tasted!" She looked at me worried, "Was it good?"

"Good? That's not even the word to describe it! More like amazing, you an awesome cook Cryst."

She looked down at her food blushing, "Thank you." Wow, did I just make her blush? Nah, not like that. Maybe because it's attention on her, she wouldn't be attracted to me.

"What's the matter Maui ?"

"Huh?"

"Y-you were staring at me, is there something on my face?" 'Pff yea, there's beauty all over it'

"No! I was just *ahem* thinking we can sail again today." She got real excited and started bouncing in her chair. "Yes yes yes!"

I chuckled, "Ok, I'll see you down there. I'm going to get prepared."

"Ok Maui, I'll see you there after I'm done."

I was about to head out when I thought of something.

*Crystal's POV*

Maui was walking towards the door, then at the corner of my eye I seen him stop.

He turned around and came towards me. 'Maybe he wanted some more to eat.' He knelt on down and put his lips on my cheek.

"Awww thanks-" then be blew a raspberry. "AHHHHH! MAUI I'M GOING TO GET YOU!"

He ran out the house laughing his butt off, "Thank you for breakfast!" I heard him yelled from outside.

I couldn't help but hold my cheek and giggle, he had such an effect on me.

I got up, cleaned my mess and headed towards the beach.
