*Crystal's POV*

"Mother!?"

She looked at me confused, "I'm sorry, no I'm not your mom."

"Yes! Yes you are! I recognize your face!"

She gave me a sad smile, "If you were old enough to remember anything, then you got the wrong woman. I haven't seen my baby since she was an infant."

'Bingo.'

"I know, I know! You sent her off to protect her from Reh-nah! You told the ocean to take her away! You made her a demigod!"

There was tears streaming down Shamera's face. She started cry even harder, face full of regret.

"I should of went with her," she cried, "I knew I would never see her again, but I just did what I needed to protect her!"

"No no no, shhhhh. Its ok, I'm here now! Do you know Te Fiti?"

She looked up at me and nodded.

"She showed me a vision of my past. She showed me and you, in a boat in the middle of nowhere. A storm was coming and you gave me immortal life! I'm that baby! I'm your daughter!"

"It can't be! Impossible!"

"It is possible! You have a tattoo on your shoulder in a shape of a flower. I was the one you sent off."

"You know how long ago that was? It was-"

I reached my hand out from between the bars. I didn't care if I would get burnt, I want to touch her for the first time!

She reached out as well and for the first time in 20 years, our hands touch one another. It was a feeling of completion I've been missing my whole life. I found who I came from, and my savior.

"It's me, Mom," I sobbed.

"My little angel! You came back to me," she said with tears in her eyes,"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you all these years. I couldn't beat him, he was too strong."

"Its ok, I understand why you had to. I love you anyways."

"I love you too, my daughter. I never thought this day would come."

"Me neither. I still can't believe you're alive! I thought you were dead!"

"No, thankfully I'm not! To tell you the truth, I'm surprised as well. Wow, look at you! You blossomed into a beautiful young woman. I just wished I was there to be in your life."

"It wasn't your fault, I know it was a hard choice to separate us. It was either this or I wouldn't be alive. Thank you, you're my hero."

"No, thank you. Seeing you again gives me the want to live once more, a purpose in life."

"Yes, now we can be together. We can make new memories and be a part of each other's lives once again."

"Of course, but we need to get out of here first. I tried for years, but failed miserably. Its impossible, especially with me at such a weakened state."

"Don't worry, my fiance will come to rescue us. We have to have faith in him."

"Fiance? Wow, I really missed a lot of important events in your life."

I squeezed her hand tighter,"Its never too late to start."

"If we get out of here alive, I can't wait to. How would he help though? A mere mortal can't stop Reh-nah!"

"Don't worry, Maui isn't a mortal. He's-"

"Maui!? Demigod of the wind and sea?"

"Yes and hero. He saved the world once from Te-Kah, he can save us."

'I hope.'

"Let's hope you're right, my dear Crystal. That's all we can do at this point."

*Maui's POV*

We finally made it to Te Fiti, but she was already up as if she was waiting for us.

We landed on the beach and ran to her, " Te Fiti! Crystal was taken by Reh-Nah! You need to help us save her!"

She nodded and pointed to a cave to the side of her island. We ran to it and went inside. Along the walls we could see different symbols drawn on the walls.

"What are these?"

"They're telling a story of each of the gods and demigods. As you can see," I pointed at a picture that resembled my tattoo," there's mine."

"So, what are we looking for?"

"Answers."

I continue further into the cave, looking for the engraving that will help me. I kept searching, when I found something.

"Moana!"

I heard her run closer, but I already found the answer to our dilemma.

"Found something?"

"Yea. I know how to beat him! You see  that?

She looked closer at a red circle I was pointing on the wall, "What is that?"

"The source of his power, the globe of fire. Come on!"

I ran out the cave and headed for our boat, Moana was on my tail. I looked up to see Te Fiti tilting her head in question.

"Thank you Te Fiti! We can save Crystal now!"

She smiled, nodded, and waved us goodbye. I pushed the boat back into the water and hopped on. Moana was pulling the ropes to the sails and we were off.

'Let's hope we can make it before it's too late!'
