Chapter 25: The Plan

*Maui's POV*

I woke up and felt something laying on my chest. I looked down to see Cryst laying on me.

Her curls was in my face and it smelled like mangoes. I brushed her hair away to see her face. 'Wow, she's beautiful when she's sleep.'

I was thinking almost all night about how I wanted to do something special for Crystal and decided to make a special day for her. Luckily it's still extremely early, the sun hasn't appeared yet, so I have more than enough time. Crystal won't wake up no time soon.

I pecked her lips and slowly moved from the bed, trying not to wake her. I tiptoed out the hut and down to the beach.

I knew Moana will be down here this early. She's been so busy she sometimes don't have time to wayfind anymore, so she comes early in the morning to enjoy herself.

I reached the beach and I saw the one person I was looking for. I seen her about to board her boat, so I snuck up and then yelled,"MOANA!"

She slipped and fell onto the beach, leaving me laughing hysterically.

"Maui I'm going to kill you!"

"No no! I need your help Curly! I want to do something for Crystal today and I need you to help me."

"Like?"

"Um....That's the thing I don't know what to do."

"Hmmmm. Ok, ummm.... Do something she never done or always wanted to do!"

"Moanaaaaaa! You're not helping!"

"IM DOING THE BEST I CAN TO HELP MAUI! NOW HUSH!"

Well....that shut me up.

"Won't you just do things simple? You're over thinking it Maui. Just do a nice lunch while sailing or something like that."

As she said that, an idea popped in my head.

"I GOT THEE PERFECT PLAN!"

"And that is?"

As I explained my idea, Moana's face lit up. "THAT.IS.AWESOME MAUI! She'll love it!"

"Great! Now I need you to distract her and keep her away from the beach!"

"WAIT WHAT!?! I never agreed to tha-"

"Please Moana! Give me until noon and I'll have her surprise ready!"

"COME. ON!!!! Are you serious?"

"PLEEEEEEASE!!!!"

She seemed to have an internal battle with herself and I didn't stop begging until she finally gave in.

"UUUUUGH!! FIIIINE!!! But you owe me one you demigod!"

With that I hugged her,ruffled her hair, and then ran off to my project for Crystal. "Thanks Curly!!!"

As I'm running off, I can hear Moana shouting behind me.

"STOP CALLING ME CURLY!!!!"

I couldn't help but chuckle. I was so full of excitement and I couldn't help but smile at the thought of her face later on today. 'I really hopes she loves it!'
