Chapter 13: On the Mission

*Moana's POV*

I made my way to Cryst's house trying to figure out how I'm going to do this. They both like each other, I know that already, but they don't know that. How am I gonna get them together?

When I arrived I knocked on the door and it opened......

"MOM!?!?!" Why was mom here?
"Hey Mo, Cryst is gonna teach me some of her recipes. She's out restocking her ingredients."

'Just Great'

"Ok mom, thanks. I'm going to go find her. See you later." I kissed her cheek and ran to the center of the village.

I first went to Ms. Lui, she sells spices. "Hello Ms. Lui. How are you?" She loved to see me apparently and gave me a huge smile. "Hello Moana, I'm swell. How bout you, how can I help you?"

"I'm looking for Crystal. Have she come by yet?"

"I'm sorry dear, you missed her. Though I did remember hearing her say that she needed some of material to make a outfit for the Harvest Festival."

I thanked her, hugged her, and ran to Mrs. Michi's shop.

'2 hours later'

I've been to every shop in the village, but I just couldn't find Crystal! It was night time when I came back to Crystal's house. I knocked on the door and.......

I tackled the figure that opened the door.
"WHERE.WERE.YOU.AT!" I yelled, hitting her with every word I spoke.

"Ouch! Stop Moana! I'm sorry I got caught up with shopping and some other stuff. GET OFF OF ME!"

After a couple seconds more of hitting her I finally got off of her. She glared at me and went to sit on the couch.

"Crystal, I looked everywhere for you all day long! I probably loss so much weight!" She giggled at my whining.
"I'm sorry Mo, but I can make it up to you. I have some news."

I got really excited. I sat next to her waiting for her to start. She told me what it was and my heart broke.....and so will Maui's.

After staying with Crystal for a while, I went home. I needed some rest, time, and preparation for tomorrow. I climbed into bed, wide awake. What am I going to do? How can I do this?

'How am I going to tell this to Maui?'
