You're the butterflies in my stomach and the unspoken words on the tip of my tongue
It's you that causes this ache of longing that never goes away even when it's mostly forgotten
Your smile and laugh mean more to me than I can ever say
I want to be the cause of your happiness but you won't let me
You love me, I know it, I can see it in your eyes
But you look past me, ignore me, have I imagined it all this entire time?
You're my anchor in the storm and my home when I feel adrift
You make me feel weak and safe and loved all at once
I want to give you everything if you'll only let me
