So many thoughts fill my mind but for once I welcome it.
I'm focused and content instead of worn out and lost at sea.
If I am in an ocean, you are my rock.
I cling to you so tightly I can no longer feel my fingers.
The water crashes over my back but you keep me warm and safe.
I need you.
I want to be the same for you as well and I hope that I am.
Two drowning people shouldn't be able to save the other.
But I can turn into your lifeboat as you are always mine.
And together we will escape the dragging currents eventually.
We have to.
And when the shore graces our eyes my vision will be blurred with tears of joy.
But if I don't make it I want you to keep going.
You deserve nothing but happiness and safety.
And if I can give you that I would relinquish my life to see it so.
I love you.
