After all this time I'd almost forgotten you
Although that is impossible but I managed to kid myself that I had
Then I heard your laugh and it was as if I'd slipped into another world
The place where it's just you and I and nothing else matters
Your smile is sunshine
It brings my own grin out from behind the clouds
Your touch reminds me of everything I've lost
But could maybe one day find again
It's easier to pretend that none of this matters
That you're nothing to me
Why can't you just be another friend?
Why does my heart skip a beat when you're near me?
I love you
Do you love me?
I don't know
And I'm too scared to unearth the truth
