Silver sits alone
Cold and unloved
No one notices the tears on her cheeksEverything hurts
She has no one at all
Why her, why now, why bother?Gold walks away
He pretends not to care
She doesn't matter, at least that's what he saysBut that's all a lie
He can't mask his pain
He was wrong, but it's too late, it's overSilver stands on the edge of a cliff
Staring at the waves
Getting lost in the noiseDownward she falls
But she doesn't drown
She wants to, but she fails, at least this timeGold finds himself on the edge of the shore
Gazing at the sheen of the sand
But longing for moreThis beauty means nothing
Without Silver by his side
But she's gone, he fucked up, he lost herSilver hears footsteps nearing her side
Too tired to care
Why even open her eyes? But then she hears his voice
And oh god - she cries
It's Gold, he's back, it's not overGold holds Silver as she weeps
His own tears spill over
But they don't hurt anymoreSilver is alive
And he knows this time
He won't leave, he loves her, they are woven together- starr
