Two broken people
Seeking comfort
And peace
And love
This is torture in a different form
Unity brings happiness but distance brings pain
He just wants to be there
To hold her
To soothe her
To make everything okay
But oceans lie between them
And words are all he has to keep the agony away
He still laughs and jokes
But his heart is breaking
Tears are falling
His dreams aren't even safe
He presses on though
He won't leave her alone even if he can't be by her side
