I will wait for you until the stars burn out and the universe begins to fade away and still I will not give up on you.
You come and go, streaking across the sky like the most beautiful of comets.
I admire you from afar when you're not with me, counting down the moments until you will fall into my arms again.
When you come home, I am finally whole.
The heat of your inner fire licks at my soul, warming my heart and banishing the cold that surrounds my bones when you are away.
I love you more than I can ever say, I hope you know that.
Inevitably you'll leave, that thought constantly lurks at the back of my mind, but you will return as well.
I will always be here my darling, forevermore.
