Tear me down just to build me back up.
I don't understand this process, what you are doing to me, but I'm helpless to stop it.
You say I look better now.
Prettier, more to your design, but I feel empty inside, and I don't want to wear this painted face just to please someone.
But it's you.
You who I would do anything for, I'd bend for you, break for you, so if this is what you want, I'll do it.
I'm hurting though.
You don't see the cracks underneath my surface, but I feel them, they tear at me, they're ripping me apart, and it's only a matter of time until I crumble.
Will you hold me together?
I am not sure if you will, I think if I break you'll walk away from the rubble, leaving me bleeding and shattered at your feet.
It's a risk I'm willing to take.
