I flutter my eyes open immediately feeling my eyes hurt from the bright lights.
"Gia!", a familiar voice splutters.
As soon as my vision strengthens seeing everything so clear. I realize it's Nathan.
"Nathan", I mumble.
I try to get up from laying down, but immediately feel excruciating pain struck me all over my body especially my abdomen area.
"Lay back down don't do any pressure", Nathan worriedly says.
"What happened to me?", I cough feeling my throat dry.
"Get away from her!", Eli bursts into my room throwing a death glare at Nathan.
"Babe I'm so sorry I wasn't there", Eli's voice cracks on the verge of breaking down.
"What happened?", I croak out still confused on why I'm on a hospital bed.
"I have no idea what happened Gia. I just arrived at your house ringing the door bell you didn't answer . I know you were there since we did talk before I made my way to your house, so I immediately grew suspicious and that's when I decided to turn the doorknob and it was unlocked. As soon as the door opened I saw you laid out your face on the floor completely passed out. There was so much blood surrounding your bottom area and I called the ambulance", Nathan explains his grey-blue eyes a glossy sheen.
"What were you doing talking to my wife?!", Eli grumbles.
"Elias stop!", I hold onto his hand.
"I apologized for being an ass to her and we were going to talk and call truths", Nathan responds.
Eli glances at Nathan then at me with a disapproving face expression.
"Where's Avalyn?", Eli asks beaming at Nathan.
"She wasn't anywhere to be found", Nathan frowns.
And just like that everything that happened strikes me all at once from the phone call with Nathan, hearing footsteps, fighting off the blue eyed masked muscular guy accompanied by two others, hearing my baby cry, them taking Avalyn, and the blue eyed throwing me down the stairs.
"They took my baby!", I screech tears bursting out of my eyes.
"WHO THE FUCK?!", Eli grits his teeth.
Knock Knock
Two police officers enter the room with a clipboard in their hands.
"Gia Marin?", the black haired police officer croaks.
"They took my baby girl!", I shout.
"Gia, please try and calm down.. tell us everything that happened and I promise you we'll find her", the female police officer reassures grabbing my hand.
I glance at Eli who's completely red fuming in anger pacing back and forth around the room. Knowing Eli he's trying his hardest to not lose his shit.
I wipe my tears with the back of my hands breathing in and out in order to calm down to make sure I report every detail without leaving out not one single detail.
After awhile of telling the cops of what happened. They reassured Eli and I to stay in contact with us as soon as they trace anything regarding Avalyn.
