Since his birthday, Jeon Jungkook was never seen without a bracelet on his wrist no matter where he went. Thank god you bought a rust-proof one, because he definitely wasn't considerate enough to take it off when swimming.

And you both were back at school, along with Minah, Taehyung and the rest of the student population.

After the night spent together watching a few movies before falling asleep against each other, you woke up best friends again.

"Make me breakfast, slave."

"Ugh, get it yourself."

Many smacks of pillows later - "Fine. Get up."

It was honestly rotten luck that you didn't have any classes together with Jungkook except PE and every class together with Minah except for PE.

At least Jungkook was good at sports.

On the first day back, you were greeted by the many juniors that recognized you from the previous year, and a few of the seniors as well.

After the first four boring lessons of the year, it was time to face lunch. Not that you would have a problem, with Jungkook and Minah with you.

Fortunately, your lunch table hadn't changed. Taehyung (a senior), and four of his jock friends from rugby. Jungkook, Minah, and Jimin, another of your best friends that knew about Seoul.

Lunch was spent talking about your "trip" to Seoul. Jungkook barely talked throughout, realizing that all his friends had kept this from him.
You had begged them to, because you didn't want him finding out from someone else. But you never did mention it to him in the end.

After lunch was two more classes of introductions in Biology and Maths.

The next few days pretty much progressed the same way.

On the fifth day, at lunch, you couldn't bear his silence any more and dragged Jungkook out of the canteen. The others just watched you pass without prying, knowing it would be useless.

"We're friends again, right?"

"We've always been."

"Then why are you acting up?"

"Because I'm still getting over the fact that my best friend got all of my other best friends to keep a secret from me?"

The pain showed on my face and he softened. "I'll try, okay?"

I just hugged him.

"Do you want to skip? We can go out and have some real food."

Hesitating... hesistating... hesitating...
"Okay."
