The three of you headed to the common ground together, Minah with her arm looped through yours and you holding Jungkook's hand on the other side.
The 'common ground' was actually just a grassless area on the edge of the campsite that provided a large-enough space for two classes to sit down on. As you neared the clearing, you let go of Jungkook's hand and sent him a consoling smile before going separate ways and sitting down with Minah near the girls in your class.
"2A, listen up! For the next three days, we will be teaching you how to bord-watch, and take advantage of this big space to further your physical training. Ms Jung and Mr Kim wil be in charge of these events! As to my post, in this camp, you must learn to take care of yourselves, starting with tonight, where we will cook our own food!" Ms Lee, standing up in front of your class, announced. "I will be teaching you how to set up your own campfires, which is an important survival skill you may need if you ever find yourself stranded somewhere."
Your eyes wandered around, watching Ms Jung give her homeroom class the same speech on bird-watching next to you. Your eyes then proceeded to trail over to Jungkook, maybe five or six people away, who was already looking at you from his spot.
"Well, that's it then! You're all dismissed for your first task. The sun is setting, so you all should try to get the fire going before nightfall! No torches allowed except for bathroom breaks!" Everyone laughed and slowly got up to return to their tents.
Minah, with an arm still around you, made a movement to get up which was stopped by your unmoving body.
"Hello, hello? Anyone there?" she waved your hands in front of your face. You were staring at the space Jungkook had just been in a moment ago, Jungkook already yards away with Yugyeom, walking back to their tent.
"Oh, sorry! I wasn't paying attention. We're supposed to start a fire, right?" you got up and shook your head a few times, clearing your mind of the daze.
"You make it sound like we're trying to commit arson," Minah drawled, "Maybe we should keep you away from anything flammable."
You scratched the back of your neck, letting out an awkward laugh before dragging Minah by the arm and walking hurriedly back to your tent, noticing that everyone had left already.

Over the next couple of days, camp was peaceful, and dare you say it, fun.
The fire on the first night was relatively successful, only a few boys in 2D setting fire to their marshmellows and nearly melted their barbeque fork. Minah especially was glad to hear that they wouldn't have to go be lumberjacks and chop firewood, since the task wasn't part of the mission. After successfully setting up the fire, everyone was allowed to mingle around with their friends and have barbeque together. As expected, Jungkook abandoned Yugyeom at their fire, and dragged Jimin along to yours. Sujeong and Jiho surprising decided to stay, and you had a good night chatting around the campfire and playing the classic truth or dare.
The next day was the beginning of physical torture. Apparently, although the trip was said to help develop the pupils' bird-watching skills (no pun intended), two of the three days were to be spent doing physical exercise. On the first day, 2A and D were subject to Mr Kim's training whilst 2B and C went bird-watching with Ms Jung and Ms Lee. The next day the classes would switch around, and on the third day there would be a competition to see who had improved the most (or hadn't) through their "physical training".
