(Okay, it will not be exactly according to the Race to the Edge plot, but more according to its timeline. Heather and Dagur are united with the Dragon Riders, but are working undercover in the Dragon Hunters. I will skip some parts, but after this, it will be bordering on the capture and end of Viggo. We will delve more into Hiccup and Skye's relationship after. I'm going to wrap up these seasons within a few weeks worth of a timeline.)

"Well, Heather? Is Skye okay?" Hiccup asked nervously, supporting his body on the circular table in the middle of the common room.

Heather huffed and petted her dragon's head. "I'm afraid my news isn't great. But I have to leave soon. I think they're coming close to realizing that Dagur and I are tipping you off."

"You both are always welcome here, Heather." Fishlegs said sweetly, which earned a smile from the girl.

"Did something happen to her?" Astrid asked in concern.

"You could say that," the black-haired girl said, finding it difficult to explain, "she doesn't want to be found."

It took a second for that sentence to sink in.

Tuffnut stepped forward, genuinely worried. "What do you mean? Does she want to play a more serious game of hide-and-seek? If so, I volunteer. I'm pretty good at this stuff."

"That's true." Ruffnut said. "He once found me hiding under a yak. It was a pretty good spot, I suppose."

"Indeed it was."

"Oh, please don't tell me it means what I think it means." Fishlegs muttered as he shifted.

"Ruffnut loves yaks?"

Hiccup pursed his lips. "She's safe, right?"

"Yes."

"Then what's the problem?" Ruffnut asked, not understanding.

"Skye joined the Dragon Hunters." Heather said finally, shutting her mouth after those words.

A prolonged silence followed. Everyone was looking at Hiccup. His face was expressionless, except for the slight frown on his lips.

Astrid reached out to him in concern. "Hiccup-"

The auburn-haired man flinched and ran out of the common room, heading towards his own dorm. And all that repeated in his mind was, my fault, my fault.

But he wouldn't allow that. He wouldn't give up on Skye. Not after everything that happened. He would find her. But when the time was right.

"I'm not letting you go again, Skye." He promised in that whisper.

And Hiccup was going to make sure that the time would be quite soon.
Hiccup got on Toothless' back and made his way to Bigfoot island. He really needed to clear his head.

"What are your results, Skye? Who's the traitor amongst us?" Viggo asked as he walked into her tent. "Who has been feeding information about our hideouts to the Dragon Riders?"

The woman was sitting on her bed, pulling on one of her boots. She looked up at him through her lashes, feeling a deep weight under her eyes from restless nights.

"For one, there are two traitors." She muttered and stood up. She proceeded to pull her long hair up, mesmerizing Sin with the movements. Wolf was clinging to her leg like a puppy begging for attention.

"And they are?" Viggo prompted.

Skye raised her pointer finger as a gesture for him to wait. She put a clip between her teeth, tied up her hair and then clipped her falling bangs of hair to the side neatly. "Heather and Dagur."
