The Birthday Part 1

Elena's P.O.V

I wake up to the bedroom door slamming against the wall revealing a very amused, smug Kol. Oh dear lord. Now what has he done? "Now what have you done Kol?" I ask relaying my thoughts aloud. His face slowly turns into a frown. "How do you not know what today is?!" He whispers yells so he doesn't wake the rest of the house up. "Ummmmm. Wait I know now. It's my favourite day. Saturday. The day of bloody rest. So get out." I say throwing a small pillow at him hitting him square in the face. He doesn't look very smug or amused anymore. He actually looks rather angry. "Oops?" I say shrugging my shoulders before speeding out of the room towards Bekah's room. I smash my fist against the door. "Hey Beks let me in. I threw a pillow at Kol and hit him in the face!" I say urgently knowing she would let me in. Kol would never hurt me or Beks but he tickles us mercilessly. The door swings open and Bekah pulls me inside quickly just as Kol rounds the corner. I slam the door behind me and locking it as fast as I can. "Thanks Beks. I owe you." I say breathlessly. Kol knocks calmly on the door. "Ellie. Bekah. Can one of you please let me in so I can tell Ellie what she has forgotten or do you want to explain it to her Bekah? Go on Bekah ask her what today is. Go on. Do it." Kol urges from the other side of the door. "Is he telling the truth Lena? Do you seriously not know what today is?" Bekah asks looking at me with a very shocked expression. "It's Saturday. The day where I should be sleeping in not up at 7 a.m." I say confused as to why this Saturday in particular is so important. Bekah unlocks the door pulling me away from it. "No Bekah. Why would you do that?" I whine as the door slams open and a very smug Kol walks in and throws me over his shoulder. "Hope you don't like these pyjamas too much." Kol says. Then he vamp speeds to the pool outside in the backyard and tosses me in. When I come up for air Kol says. "Happy birthday Ellie." It's my birthday I can't believe I forgot. "Ohhhhh yeah. I forgot it's my birthday today." I say getting out of the pool and drying off with magic before using magic to toss Kol in there. Then I hear a lot of snickering and giggling from behind me. I spin around to see Bekah, Marcellus, Lijah and Nik laughing at Kol for being bested by me. Apparently, turning around was a huge mistake because I feel Kol arms wrap around my waist from behind making me wet again. "That wasn't very nice Ellie." Kol whispers in my ear. "If you get off me Kol. I promise to dry you off with magic before drying myself off again." I whisper back to him. Kol slowly unwraps his arms from around me but grabs my waist to spin me around. "Go on then Ellie." Kol says. "I haven't got all day." Kol continues. So I dry him off with magic before replacing my clothes with some clothes from my bedroom and sending my pyjamas upstairs. "Hey can you do that for me Ellie?" Kol asks. "Sure." So I use magic to dress Kol in some of my clothes sending his clothes to my room also. He growls at me and Bekah bursts out laughing. "Technically Kol. She did what you asked her to do. You said and I quote 'Can you do that for me Ellie?' You didn't specify whose clothes you wanted on. Just be grateful she didn't put you in one of our skin tight dresses that only reach mid thigh." Bekah says and I use magic to put him in one because that would be so much funnier now that I think about it. So Kol is currently a pale pink skin tight mid thigh dress. I hear camera clicks from behind me and even more laughing. I think if Bekah or I laugh any harder we are going to pee our pants. "Elena. Put me in some normal clothes please." Kol growls. Oops. He must be really angry now because he said Elena not Ellie. I quickly draw magic and suddenly, Kol is wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans from his bedroom and my dress is back in the wardrobe. "So guys. I've got to go back to the Gilberts and explain where I have been since about 7 a.m. yesterday. So see ya later." I say before heading into the house to grab my bag and clothes from the previous night. I hear someone walk up behind me. "Hey Ellie. Want me to drive you home?" Kol asks from behind me. "Yeah sure thanks Kol." I reply smiling. We head out to Kol's car and when we get there Kol opens the passenger door for me. I smile at him kindly. "Thanks dude." I say making Kol laugh. "It's alright dude." Kol says as he walks to the drivers seat making me laugh. We drive to the Gilbert's house chatting about where Kol has been for the past few years. When we reach the front door, I take a deep breath. "Kol. You might not want to come in, unless you want to see me yell a pair of vampire hunters then I suggest you leave. But don't worry they are vampire hunters by choice not the ones wanting to find Silas. That's their son." I say smiling at him. "I'm going to come in with you Ellie. I'm not letting you go in there alone." Kol says smiling slightly. "Okay dude. It's your funeral." I say before opening the door and walking in yelling. "Yo. Miranda. Grayson. Jeremy. I'm back." Jeremy comes running down the stairs and pulls me into a hug. "Hey Elena. Where've you been? Mom and dad are out right now." Jeremy asks. "At a friends house. I have known them for a long time. Oh hey Jeremy would you mind inviting my friend in he's a vampire and needs an invitation from a Gilbert." I say and Jeremy shakes his head. "I'm not allowed to let vampires in without permission from my parents." Great. I could always compel him. Yeah I'll compel him. "You will let him in and forget this whole coversation. All you will remember is my friend and I came back. I stayed at a friend's house last night and nothing else happened." I say while staring in to his eyes. "I will let him in forget all of this." Jeremy says before shaking his head. "Oh uh yeah. Come on in mate." Jeremy says before heading back upstairs. I turn around to see Kol standing directly behind me. "Ufff." I say as I bump into Kol's chest. I scowl at him. "Why are you standing so close?" I ask still scowling at him slightly. "I came to say goodbye. Anyway. So. Bye Ellie see you tomorrow." He says. I smile as he walks to his car. I give him a quick wave before heading back into the house and collapsing onto the bed.
